Yes that money saving thing is such an unnecessary thing when we can just print more money. Actually there are plenty of recruits looking at these schools for something very important in life..........it's called an education, but hey I don't expect a bama fan to understand the value of education, let alone appreciate it. You do realize that a very small % of students move on to an NFL career. The rest will need to rely on what they learned at the university.

Didn't mean for it to come out so cynical. Must be that Friday the 13th fear.

But I'm a realist as well. Kelly will eventually move on to a bigger program, it's just a matter of time. He loves it here particularly for raising his family but can't believe he would turn down the type of money other schools are offering. I would just like to see him succeed at the next level, no matter where he goes (yes, even if it's Michigan). I really believe he would do well at ND. Keep in mind, Cincy arguably the strongest hs football region in Ohio, has always been a strong recruiting base for ND even prior to Faust.

Yes I am......the difference is when I went football and bball games were free to the students. How does that saying go...."You get what you pay for? Well that sums up the athletic environment at that time. My attendance at games usually amounted to catching the top opposing teams like Florida St.

Kiffin's doing what he was hired to do. Recruit the premier athletes and start putting together a team that can win. The second part is still up for debate but it looks like he's got one hell of a start. UT has my interest.
