Its kinda sad that some Laker fans are actually ok with letting Odom go..real sad. They may have had an upgrade with Artest, but Ariza+Odom > Artest, they are proven that they could win with the Lakers, Artest is questionable until we see him play in the upcoming season.

This was no surprise. When the 2 groups met yesterday, the Knicks did not even offer Jason Kidd a contract. They were playing it safe, and I believe the only thing they could've offered him was a 1 year deal compromising of the mid-level exception. Kidd has already said that he isn't interested in one year deals. New York was playing it safe for the 2010 Free-Agent class.

I just don't see Ron Artest going for the Cavs for less money, I just don't see it. Meanwhile, Ariza seems pissed off that the Lakers are not offering up a more bigger contract, knowing that Ariza was a very very valuable player for them in the Playoffs, especially in the Finals. Although the Cavs can offer the same mid-level exception as the Lakers, the fact that the Lakers won't offer him a bigger contract could lead him to Cleveland. But the Blazers are the team that could offer Ariza the most money, out of all the 5 teams that are interested in him.

I believe an Antonio McDyess would be more valuable in the long run. He doesn't just give you experience similar to Rasheed, he also brings a mentality and a style of play that shows that he can consistantly play great basketball even in the bench. Just give him 15-20 minutes of the bench, and hew ill give you valuable playing time like he did as a former reserve for the Detroit Pistons.

As stated previously, there is no chance for Jason Kidd to go to the New York Knicks, nada! Kidd has already stated that he is mostly interested in staying with the Mavs. The Mavs could have the biggest offer to give him for about 3 years. The Knicks and Kidd have already met today, to no surprise, no offer from the Knicks, who are trying to play safe for the LeBron James extravaganza next summer. While the Mavs have already offered Kidd with a lucrative offer which I will expect him to sign.
