Posted Friday April 18, 2014, About: Trump taking a legit run at the Bills
The only deals he done in the last ten years are for a couple of golf courses and a failed TV show. Let's not forget that he's filed for bankruptcy multiple times and doesn't even have control of his own company any more.
Posted Friday April 18, 2014, About: Trump taking a legit run at the Bills
Trump is nothing more than a carnival barker and this is just his usual shtick designed to keep his name in the news. He doesn't even control Trump Inc. anymore. He lost control of that on the third or fourth bankruptcy and is now merely the "pitchman" who leases his name and collects a fortune for doing so. But he has no operational authority in the very company that bears his name.

Nobody in the real business world takes him seriously and NFL owners are real business people...and very serious. Finally, Trumps promises are about as worthwhile as the TP he wipes his ample bum with so the great citizens of Buffalo should be glad this will never come to fruition. The real buyer is out there working on a serious proposal while Trump is juggling his press conference calendar

Posted Monday April 07, 2014, About: Bills could wind up in Toronto
It was 400,000 son, not 400 million. That amount of money could have purchased the entire NFL back then.

Disagree. His players just didn't execute. He never got a chance to coach. When your offensive line is as tight as a spaghetti colander, you can't exactly work your game plan. They got outplayed, not out coached.
Posted Wednesday February 05, 2014, About: Can Rams fans keep the team?
No city or State should request taxpayers to build a facility for a billionaire's business.....period. If you want to give them tax breaks or other incentives, fine. But name one corporation other than a sports franchise that has pulled off this scam. Yet billionaire sports team owners do it all the time. It sickens me. Put a quality product on the field and you will fill the seats.
Cleveland should give up. I hear they share make up tips and giggle over cute tight ends as well.

This guy is a MONSTAH!!!!!! NExt Calvin Johnson.
Posted Tuesday January 07, 2014, About: Allen awaits his fate
Not a Raider fan in any way but it would seem immensely unfair to let this guy go after what he (and the GM) were given to work with two years ago. Talk about a train wreck!! Poppa Al damned near sank the franchise with his crazy moves. It won't get fixed overnight.

Bottom line is this. He's on his fourth team and he's only 30 years old. That doesn't happen to great (even good) players. Players who do make 100 catches a year. Players who never miss practice or games due to injuries, distractions and off field stupidity. Sadly, he's so delusional he doesn't realize he is not one of those players.

I know I sound like a broken record but if you can afford a professional sports team in the big four (NFL, MLB, NBA or NHL) then you damn sure ought to be able to afford your own stadium. If not, sell it to someone who can. The fans support you by paying outrageous ticket prices. You've got corporate & luxury box income, merchandise income, concession & parking money, Television and radio contracts, etc. If you can't make it work and make money at it, then you have no business being in the game. (sure, pun intended) STOP ASKING THE GENERAL TAXPAYER BASE TO PAY FOR YOUR COMPANY.

Yep, definitely dodged a bullet on that one. Who would have thought 2-3 years ago that Oakland would be the more stable organization?

He may be but according to the article just before this one, Matt Barkley is already slated to take his job. Good! Dog torturer and killer.

I'd cheer for any QB who supplanted the innocent animal killer Vick.

I'm guessing yes, he's already spent it if he can't make a simple 75K bail bond. You are correct, it's over for him. He's radioactive to the NFL.
Posted Friday May 10, 2013, About: Tebow's future arrived Thursday?
He's a good guy, a true quality human being but obviously not an NFL QB. And spare me the "all he ever does is win" stuff. NCAA isn't the NFL and his streak in Denver was exhilarating but it was lightning in a bottle. If he were truly capable, somebody would have spotted it by now. If he would accept a tight end role, he could be a star but he doesn't want that. I admire his grit and faith in himself and wish him the best.

What kind of due diligence did the owners do on this guy? Lawsuits, especially class action don't happen overnight. Usually the plaintiffs vampires (lawyers) will try and shake down the defendants with threatening letters, filings, etc. FBI involved? That sounds lengthy & complicated. Wonder what his answers were when asked about any pending or imminent legal problems?
