The Big East is too tough! All our teams do is beat up each other week in and week out, its impossible to make it out unscathed. (I'm joking.) Even as a Rutgers alum I wince at the game that just finished...
Come on, write back, I'm bored. Rutgers-Pitt isn't televised and ND isn't on yet. Don't you love how an unranked team (who has THEIR OWN national network to play their games) can be on the road against a 0-6 team and still get national coverage?
How do you get a Penn State fan (I assume you're not an alum as you didn't defend yourself in your last comment, but kudos on the correct punctuation) off your doorstep? Pay them for the pizza.
"RR coached up a storm versus Cincinnati, Connecticut, Louisville, Pitt, Rutgers, Syracuse and Temple." Or "Did I ever say that WVU was lousy? (You didn't use a question mark, I added one for you)"
Which one is it? You got called out when you said WVU couldn't beat anyone good then just bashed the Big East to cover your worthless comment. Try adding something constructive, if you actually went to Penn State and weren't just a hick pretender you would...
Try not to catch any jock itch out there... Oh wait, you've never even been within 3,000 miles of the school you claim to be a fan of. Notre Dame is back on the rise and Rutgers isn't going anywhere. Deal with it or get out of NJ...
I'm a lifelong Jersey resident. It has its good and bad sides. Something tells me that EastCoastKeith lives in the not so good part. I've gone to school at Clemson, Rutgers and Notre Dame. Been to football games at FSU, PSU, VT, THE COLISEUM (bet you wish you've been there,) the other USC in Columbia, Pitt, Tenn, Michigan, the Orange Bowl, Fiesta Bowl, Gator Bowl, Cotton Bowl amongst others. While Rutgers Stadium might not have the history of the other places it can get just as loud. Go to Michigan and sit with 110,000 then go to RU and sit with 45,000 and tell me who's louder. Also, NJ is not the armpit of America, you'd have to go down south for that. You won't find tin shacks in NJ.
Oh, and Warden, good call on the helicopter comment. A Michigan Helmet or logo with a statement about that is as reiable as ECK
Must have been a fun 4th since you're on a chat board talking sh** at 1:30am. Rutgers gets a lot of press because its in the greater NYC area and has a wealthy fan base. If you read the posts on here all the Rutgers fans have said is basically 'good job' and 'hooray for our team.' All the negative posts come from the haters. This program was in the gutter forever and never got any press, thats why you never heard from Rutgers fans. That special from ESPN last year was the Louisville-Rutgers game when they asked random people in TImes Square if they had ever heard of Rutgers. Rutgers is in New Jersey, not New York where Times Square is, and most of the people who aren't tourists in Times Square at any given day couldn't even tell you their own name or where the Knicks play, let alone something about Rutgers. Enjoy your crawfish and domestic violence, I'll be up here in the civilized world. By the way, its spelled Rutgers - The State University of New Jersey, not butgers. You'll be hard pressed to find a Rutgers fan talking sh** on other teams articles, we have class.
That guy- College football is about money; I'm sorry that NYC, the Big Ten and Notre Dame have it while SEC fans are still running around barefoot. Ad revenue decides content.
EastCoastKeith- You have no affiliation with any team and only talk sh** (and some backhanded comments.) I have no respect for your postings. Perhaps you should focus more on your job so you could make enough money to become WestCoastKeith.
Youngstown State, Akron, Washington, Kent State and Illinois are on Ohio State's schedule this year, pretty tough. ND, who has traditional rivalries with some teams who might not be periennal powerhouses, still has a schedule that is ranked as the 13th toughest in the nation. OSU failed to make the top 25. With the exception of Ohio State, ND plays the best from the Big Ten, USC and Georgia Tech- who's a favorite for the ACC this year. You'll notice that thet don't have any IAA teams on their schedule.
