Tigers were the victims of something large stuck in their throats.
Posted Sunday September 27, 2009, About: Purdue timeout surprises Weis
Yah I guess thats what happens when your #1 QB is out a good part of the game. Your #1 WR is out for the year. Your #1RB is out for the game. Most teams would have wilted.

Hmm.. I think its racially motivated.
Posted Sunday July 06, 2008, About: Report: Weis projects 9-12 wins
Is his being overweight that much of an issue? Seriously, just drop it. If ND Can't beat UM this year, then it will never happen.
Posted Sunday December 02, 2007, About: Did Michigan's offer insult Miles?
With Miles at the helm of the Wolverines, they would be an instant contender. Their talent is always top notch, their coaching has always been less than adequate.
Its hard to put a novice at the wheel of a Ferrari and expect to win. Lloyd Carr was a great all around coach, ran a clean program and would be the exemplary coach if it was my kid making a choice for a school. Unfortunately the old school Michigan train of thought is Beat Ohio State, Go To and Win The Rose Bowl. No further aspirations required. That would change under Miles, INSTANTLY.
But now that Miles has shot down the rumors, Michigan can move on to better candidates and come out even stronger. Brian Kelly of Cincinnati comes to mind, I can't think of anyone else that would fit the bill.
I am not a Michigan fan by any means (I cheer for ND unfortunately), but Carr retiring was the best thing to happen to UM football. My bet is that they will be in the championship game Jan. 2010.
Posted Wednesday October 24, 2007, About: Irish land another top recruit
Gee Weis is fat jokes... Gets really old, I mean seriously, is that the only thing that you can actually figure out to pick on the guy with?
I am an ND fan and even I see that next, and probably the year after its going to be lean times. If Weis can survive, I predict a top5 finish the year after that.
But saying that, no one knows if these recruits are going to pan out, so I guess we unfortunately have to wait and see.
Time will tell, and I hope at some point all you BC and USC fans will be sucking it down hard.

Kobe to Boston for a package of scooby snacks.
Posted Friday October 05, 2007, About: Miles' many ties to Michigan job
Michigan is as bad as it is because Lloyd Carr is the head coach. Games they have lost are a result of piss poor play calling, and preparation. I am not anywhere near a UM fan, but for the sake of UM, Lloyd has to move on.
I would hazard a guess as to say that within 2 years Miles would have the UM program back as a legitimate Top5, if not Top10 team. I can always gauge the season UM is going to have by their pre-season ranking. Top5? Poor (UM poor is 3 or 4 losses and a bowl game),. ranked in the teens or lower, they'll have a 0 to 1 loss team (Tressel owns Carr, sorry its true).
UM recruiting lately has fallen off, for god knows why, but they are generally a Top10 recruiter, they would again own Michigan, but this change needs to happen, and happen now. Mr. D'Antonio in Lansing (Michigan States coach) will be sucking the state dry very soon.
Posted Sunday September 30, 2007, About: Another Notre Dame QB debate?
We love ND because we are fans of the team, just like anyone else is. People hate ND because they get what is perceived as special treatment. Well when you are the one of the best football programs in the history of the game, and you have so many fans things tend to sway your way a bit.

ND is having a down year this year, I dont even care if they go 0-12, as long as they can start to show the upward swing. The next 2 years will tell the tale for Weis. His first real class will be in, and consecutive Top10 and whats looking at a #1 recruiting year are going to stock the pond.

As for Willingham I try not to go that route, but its been said before and I'll say it again. With 2 seasons in the recruiting abyss, then Weis not being able to recruit due Superbowl considerations wrote off a 3rd year. The cupboard was bare. In 2 years if Weis is not in the Top10 then he should be fired.
Posted Sunday September 30, 2007, About: Another Notre Dame QB debate?
MacaDamien: Your spelling sucks.

I think Sharpley gives them the best chance at winning. Clausen looks uncomfortable back there and holds the ball out way too far.
On a side note, your defense would suck to if your offense kept you on the field, and on short fields.
Posted Sunday September 23, 2007, About: Weis: Clausen not the problem
Do you guys forget that this would have been Willinghams 5th year senior class? ND will be dealing with the bare cupboard for a year or two more. But with what he had, in his first 2 years he did well with. Also don't forget that Weis first year is a wash out due to him not being able to recruit until after the Superbowl. So ultimately we are in year 2 of a rebuilding project.

As for losing their contract? I doubt it. NBC is hurting for sports, and ND, like it or not, is the most popular team in the country. I do think however, that you will see ND join the Big10 sometime in the next few years, since really if ND doesnt get a BCS game, there is really not much left after that.

BTW, I am surprised the "fat" jokes haven't come out yet, they usually do by this time.
Posted Tuesday September 11, 2007, About: Report: Pats stole signs from Jets
How about we build a bridge and get over it. The Pats are a great team regardless of signal thievery. And while they are the only ones who might have been caught, its quite evident that this is very rampant in the NoFunLeague.
Seriously, would anyone be that stupid as to actually be doing this, having a camera on the sideline, when the rules are quite clear in regards to recording devices not being allowed.
Posted Monday August 27, 2007, About: Browns to pick starting QB
Frye, Quinn & Anderson. Dorsey is the 4th man out considering he got no play time last game. I see Quinn somewhere in Week5-7.
Posted Monday August 27, 2007, About: How long will Vick be in jail?
Vick won't be put away long enough. Even in his plea deal he side stepped the idea that he had anything to do with it. Disgusting and I hope he never plays football again.

And antonio if you show the same disdain to every other creature on the planet as you do a dog, then you might as well pack it in right now.

People need to understand that with a 10 year $130million contract, there comes responsibility. If you can't be a man, then you don't deserve that money.

I think the most improved unit on the team this year will be the Defense. Hopefully the offense can put some points up.

I don't think Russell wants to play in Oakland. So lets trade him for some value, and start Duante.
