I can understand his not wanting to go to anymore tryouts. If teams with the top 10 picks haven't made up their minds by now as to whom they are going to pick then this is nothing more than a waste of time.

Personally if I were Houston i would take Kalil Mack, To risky to take Bortles #1 overall .

So can he catch the ball ? Try switching him to WR ( 6-4 / 230 ) , he has good running skills. Or do we have another Tim Tebow who refuses to play football unless he can be the QB.
Posted Thursday April 17, 2014, About: Pats moving up for an impact WR
I truthfully thought that N.E. wouldn't even make the playoffs considering the number of hits their team took from FA and the Police Department. It only showed how pathetically weak the rest of the AFC East was. Not much has changed in the AFC , the only thing different may be which teams make the playoffs as Wild Cards.

They will get a rematch this season . Why not flip the Otis coin now to determine the winner?
Posted Thursday April 17, 2014, About: LaMichael James is on the block
He was ready to go around October of last year. They wanted to Rehab him all season so they could keep other players on the 53 man roster, just like they did with "Tank" Carradine and Quinton Dial. These are 3 players that the 49ers gambled on who had injury issues that will get to play in their 1st NFL games this year. Both Lattimore and Carradine were supposed to be 1st round picks if not for their injuries.
Posted Thursday April 17, 2014, About: LaMichael James is on the block
He is a sore reminder for Trent Baalke of how bad the 2012 draft truly was, and James was the bright spot.
What is really crazy is that they are looking at RB's to draft in 2014 , some are splitting images of James but not as good a James. This second round pick seems just like the 2010 pick in which they drafted Taylor Mays in the 2nd round and then traded him to Cincinnati the next year for a 7th round pick.

They want to trade him because he wants out of SF so he can get a chance to start on another team. Of the 4 backs on the 49ers he is the only one that has never had a knee injury. They have Frank Gore who is winding down in effectiveness, Kendall Hunter who ran sort of gingerly in 2013 after his injury in 2012 , and Marcus Lattimore who sat out all of 2013, his rookie year, because his knee injury in 2012 .

Aldon Smith is a shy introverted socially awkward Alcoholic. He probably is crying out for an older role model Male he can look to for guidance .

I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't know the number that comes between 7 and 9 .

I can tell you that if you told someone in the 60's that they should invest in a company that bottles water they would have laughed in your face.

Besides have you ever been to a grocery store or liquor store and not seen Organic Frozen Water, they make a pretty good profit.

I remember during the CBA that the boisterous Drew Rosenhaus proclaimed that the agents control the NFL , all decisions in the NFL must be made with the consent of the Agents.

Why is it that the Agents love the limelight when their player gets a big fat contract extension. But whenever their clients gets in trouble you can never find the agent. All this speculation about what the " 49ers Organization" is going to do . My question is what does the agent plan on doing to better his client ? Aldon Smith if he lives up to his potential could be worth millions of dollars to the agent, what does the agent plan on doing to get Aldon back on the right track, after all he is the one that stands to lose the most?

If the L.A. District Attorney decides to prosecute and if Aldon Smith were found guilty he would probably end up on the list of people that are never allowed to fly in airplanes again for the rest of their lives. Thus no team would hire him knowing that he can only play home games and would not be allowed to travel by airplane with the team.

I'm surprised they didn't mention that Ronnie Lott like Culliver also happened to be in the L.A. terminal. Yes apparently he was according to him.

THe 49ers have till 5/03/14 to decide if they are going to bring back Aldon for a 5th year ( 2015 ) . I presume his weapons charge trial will be over by then. So if the courts do not throw him in prison for 1-2 years, thus making the 49ers decision easy to make , I think they 49ers will bring him back for the a 5th season ( 2015 ) .

Posted Tuesday April 15, 2014, About: Trump taking a legit run at the Bills
YOu're right there are plenty people much richer than Trump. I wonder if Mark Cuban has any interest in the Bills ?
Posted Tuesday April 15, 2014, About: Trump taking a legit run at the Bills
Exactly. Plus if he bought the Bills and moved them to Canada and moved there himself , America would never be bothered with him running for President.

Amazing how his owning casinos and some of his other shady business dealings never surface when he runs for president?

There was a funny 60 minute piece on Trump when he was in the process of building a golf course and resort in Ireland and some guy would not sell his property to Trump . The sheep herder erected a huge sign that said " I Hate Donald Trump " well this forced Trump to plant a small forest of trees to block the sign and the view beyond it from the site of any golfers and guests at the hotel.
Posted Tuesday April 15, 2014, About: Why the Raiders have lost 111 of 160 games
Jamarcus Russell , Carson Palmer, Matt Flynn, Matt Schaub . Those that do not learn from their mistakes in the past are doomed to repeat them.

The Carson Palmer decision was the most hurtful to the teams future, Jamarcus Russell was a stain to the organization that is hard to forget.

What Oakland needs is 3 solid drafts in a row, and hopefully a new stadium deal. I would not waste my 1st round draft pick on a QB .

UN-a-Bomb-er ?
Posted Monday April 14, 2014, About: Spoiled and lazy Clowney will disappoint
I was talking to a co- worker who happens to be an Oakland Raider fan and those were his same exact words , plus he added that he has basically one big highlight from college, the hit on the Michigan RB.

I asked him how he'd feel if Oakland drafted him and he said he'd rather have Kahlil Mack.

Better watch out what you pray for , the Seagull God may grant your wish
Posted Monday April 14, 2014, About: Niners haven't decided on Smith's option
You're 100% right about the inconsistency . The NFL of the past usually does nothing for a long time and then some unsuspecting player, coach, or team is made an example of, Example: New Orleans and Bounty-gate. The Defensive Coordinator was also banned by the NFL indefinitely, but it only lasted 1 season.

The NFL needs a list of offenses and what the punishment will be. Example : DUI = 1 game suspension without pay. Fine from the courts , loss of license for 1 year , community service , AA rehab meetings.

Right now the L.A. District Attorney is not even sure if they are going to prosecute Aldon Smith.
Posted Monday April 14, 2014, About: Niners haven't decided on Smith's option
What Smith did is a federal offense in which a person can spend 1 year in prison . He may get a slap on the hand from all 3 trials and judges. But I doubt that Roger Goodell will be so forgiving.
