Your boys played well and fought hard -- hats off to ya. But you guys do this EVERY year, with the fast start and the precipitous decline. I'm not sure you've got the pitching staff for the long haul, but good luck to your boys.
They can make an offer for whatever the number is next year (last year was $13.5M I believe), let someone over-pay and they can pick up a comp pick. I see this being the most likely scenario.
