Right, so his All-Star 2011 season (only a season + ago), when he batted .295 with an .895 OPS in 141 games and did a great job behind the dish calling the game and throwing out 32% of base runners, has absolutely nothing to do with him being in the majors. (all numbers via B-Ref)
