Posted Tuesday March 05, 2013, About: Damontre Moore continues his decline on draft boards
Even with the bad combine performance he is still a 1st rounder.... But if the rumors of really bad interviews are true then he may slide into the 2nd or 3rd. But it only takes one team to fall in love.
Posted Thursday February 28, 2013, About: Joeckel a lock at No. 1?
Nothing in this draft is a lock at the top. They could trade down, they could resign Albert and look to D-line since Dorsey is likely getting cut, or they could stay put and draft Eric Fisher, who has closed the gap of top o-lineman, instead of Joeckel.
This draft is gonna be pretty exciting in that who knows what anybody is going to do, since there doesn't really appear to be a lot of elite talent at the top.
Posted Thursday February 28, 2013, About: The NFL's most-hated team
It's just Suggs jealousy of pretty boy Brady, since Suggs is literally the ugliest man on Earth.
Posted Tuesday February 26, 2013, About: Whispers of a side deal for Brady
Seriously? Can't the guy just be doing a good thing to help his team out? Oh my god no way the haters can stand Brady being unselfish. Just another off the field reason Brady is best in the league. Brady isn't about money, he is about winning. More money freed up means better players around him. Kinda makes Brees and other looks a bit selfsh huh?
Posted Tuesday February 12, 2013, About: Pats ready to let Welker hit the market?
Denver would probably be a good fit. But this is why I see Welker coming back to New England for less, he knows he has a nice niche in New England, and knows he probably won't be nearly as targeted on another team. Plus there is no way he will be able to develop the type of chemistry he has with Brady elsewhere.
Posted Tuesday February 12, 2013, About: Pats ready to let Welker hit the market?
I'm strangely OK with this. I think Edelman finally started taking some steps forward prior to his injury this year and with healthy Gronk, Hernandez and now Ballard in the mix, as well as Vereen coming on. I think the Patriots will be OK without Welker.

In the end I see Welker re-signing for less in NE.

Didn't the Rams already claim him?
Posted Tuesday February 05, 2013, About: Jaguars to have new logo and uniforms in 2013
Just an FYI back the other way, Jacksonville is the 11th largest city in the U.S. by population. So the fact that they are in a legit large market and bring in a lot less fans than most teams, is kinda sad. Honestly watching a few home games of theirs, I would feel pretty good saying their attendance is inflated. Plus... tarps.
Posted Sunday February 03, 2013, About: Boomer Esiason: Ray Lewis wasn't truthful during trial
Brett Favre 2.0?
I'm hope that Brady never wears another jersey, but if he insists on playing past the point he is any good (which really doesn't look to be anytime soon)... Then the Pats should cut ties, I'd rather that than suffer watching Brady struggle on the field.
Agreed, it's why the Patriots are contenders every single year. They don't play emotions and keep people on past their prime. A lot of teams would never have sent Richard Seymour or Lawyer Milloy packing.

And this surely doesn't surprise me
Posted Saturday February 02, 2013, About: Chris Culliver to work with gay and lesbian youth
Probably not, but this whole thing isn't really on him so much as it is the media. NFL players stances on social issues should not matter in the least. The NFL is a cross section of people just like anywhere else in the world, I'm sure there are players that are racist, anti-Semitic, homophobic, etc. etc. Getting this kid to come out and fake apologize isn't going to change his beliefs. Really what it comes down to is the media should not ask players questions like this, you know they are just fishing to find some kid who will slip up and say how he really feels, instead of the canned "PC" response.

Lewis is gone, and I kinda doubt Ed Reed is gonna be back in purple and black next year anyways.
Posted Tuesday January 29, 2013, About: Trade, pay cut still on table for Vick
I'm not making a comment if it helps or hurts their development, it's just the way it is. I fully expect Geno Smith will be the starting QB for whichever teams drafts him by week 1. The only recent QBs I can think of that have sat any significant portion of their rookie years would be Jake Locker, Tim Tebow and Brady Quinn... heck even Matt Leinart started 11 games his rookie year.
Posted Tuesday January 29, 2013, About: Trade, pay cut still on table for Vick
Ready or not, teams rarely sit their 1st round QB anymore.
Posted Tuesday January 29, 2013, About: Trade, pay cut still on table for Vick
I don't know I'd put him in the bottom half of starters. He isn't accurate at all, can't read a defense and takes off running before letting plays develop. Also his tendency to run has caused him to be injured all the time, can't be any help if he's always on the sideline. I personally think he may have to settle for a back-up job or go to a team that's looking for someone to compete. My guess for Vick in 2013, the N.Y. Jets... he can compete with Sanchez and JaMarcus Russell.

Agreed
Posted Tuesday January 29, 2013, About: Trade, pay cut still on table for Vick
I'd imagine that if the Eagles plan to draft Geno Smith (if KC doesn't take him), then it will be at #4 overall, and Vick will likely be out the door. I bet Vick is a goner in Philly any way you cut it, guy just ain't that good.

So **** is now a word that is bleeped out. Not that it's a scientific term or anything. Man the PCness of this country is just getting sad.
