Posted Tuesday May 14, 2013, About: Weis supports Bob Stoops' criticism of SEC
No, just full of crap. The bottom half of any other conference would have been 0-30 against the SEC if they played the games. As it is, the top 6 of the SEC only played 10 games vs the other major conferences, including bowl games. In those games the SEC was 8-2, losing to the BE #1 and the ACC #2. Total points: SEC 354, others 198. No conference had a good day against the top 6 of the SEC.

The bottom 8 of the SEC may not be that great, but Stoops and Weis need another way to make their point.

No need to get your knickers in a twist. You're the enlightened one who started the s<hit shots.

No team with a single arrest is in the running. Multiple arrests is a requirement to win the Cup. Source: Wiki.

Half right is okay.... kinda like half-assed. According to ArrestNation, Bama is the Div I leader in 2013 with 5 arrests. Arky has 4, while UF, UTX, Wazoo and MTSU have 3. There are 7 schools with 2 arrests and 24 with 1, including USC and LSU. Ohio State has none, but there's still 8 months to go. Also, B1G won the Fulmer Cup in '07, the only major conf to win besides SEC.

Now why didn't you characterize Notre Dame that way during Weis' last year? Or any of the ten years prior? Your compromised objectivity puts a hole in anything you have to say, domerhomer.

Clearly, it's obvious to you.

The Dux don't travel well. Not sure they ever beat a ranked team when playing more than 100 miles from the Pacific Ocean.

Agree. You're the one making a case for comparing scores.
Posted Tuesday August 07, 2012, About: USC's offense historically explosive?
Yeah, but in 3 of those games USC gave up at least 2 TDs. Pathetic D considering they were SEC offenses. ;)
Posted Tuesday August 07, 2012, About: USC's offense historically explosive?
Point diff for both games is 18, which still makes PSU better if you go strictly by that sort of thing.
Posted Tuesday August 07, 2012, About: USC's offense historically explosive?
I meant East, but we don't really think Boise wins there or the PAC. You're just yanking OT' s chain.
Posted Tuesday August 07, 2012, About: USC's offense historically explosive?
Since Boise St beat UGA, I guess BSU would have been the champs of the SEC west.
Posted Tuesday August 07, 2012, About: USC's offense historically explosive?
Bama beat LSU by 21, and PSU by only 16. Doesn't make Penn St better than LSU...

Likely true. Conversely, SEC O makes the Ds look better...

Posted Friday September 09, 2011, About: Muschamp angered and disgusted, blasts NCAA
Agree. Sounds like a nice a kid and not much to criticize the way he and UF handled it. By contrast, 3 tOSU players are being reinstated for Game 2 after taking $200 from a charity event and failing to get their stories straight when questioned about it.

On the other hand, using a kid's impoverished/lousy upbringing is no excuse. Not to compare offenses, but lawyers try to use the same excuse to justify armed robberies and murders by saying the accused is a victim of his environment and it's the system that should be punished. Sometimes they actually find 12 idiots to agree.

Whatever Floyd and grandma would have done to get by without those bennies is what they should have done. What's wrong with this system is if he robbed a 7-Eleven to get that money, the NCAA wouldn't have cared.
