No, just full of crap. The bottom half of any other conference would have been 0-30 against the SEC if they played the games. As it is, the top 6 of the SEC only played 10 games vs the other major conferences, including bowl games. In those games the SEC was 8-2, losing to the BE #1 and the ACC #2. Total points: SEC 354, others 198. No conference had a good day against the top 6 of the SEC.
The bottom 8 of the SEC may not be that great, but Stoops and Weis need another way to make their point.
Half right is okay.... kinda like half-assed. According to ArrestNation, Bama is the Div I leader in 2013 with 5 arrests. Arky has 4, while UF, UTX, Wazoo and MTSU have 3. There are 7 schools with 2 arrests and 24 with 1, including USC and LSU. Ohio State has none, but there's still 8 months to go. Also, B1G won the Fulmer Cup in '07, the only major conf to win besides SEC.
Now why didn't you characterize Notre Dame that way during Weis' last year? Or any of the ten years prior? Your compromised objectivity puts a hole in anything you have to say, domerhomer.
Agree. Sounds like a nice a kid and not much to criticize the way he and UF handled it. By contrast, 3 tOSU players are being reinstated for Game 2 after taking $200 from a charity event and failing to get their stories straight when questioned about it.
On the other hand, using a kid's impoverished/lousy upbringing is no excuse. Not to compare offenses, but lawyers try to use the same excuse to justify armed robberies and murders by saying the accused is a victim of his environment and it's the system that should be punished. Sometimes they actually find 12 idiots to agree.
Whatever Floyd and grandma would have done to get by without those bennies is what they should have done. What's wrong with this system is if he robbed a 7-Eleven to get that money, the NCAA wouldn't have cared.

.....also a popular sentiment of SBNation bloggers ;]
No team with a single arrest is in the running. Multiple arrests is a requirement to win the Cup. Source: Wiki.
whoever plays the Yankees.
