They are not the same players that used to get all of the take-aways. The only one left that is playing is Tillman. Vasher's a backup because of lack of production. He lost his job to 2nd year player Bowman. Mike Brown is gone, replaced by rookie Afalava. Manning moved from nickel to safety. This is just not as good of a group as they used to have. I think that the loss of Mike Brown hurt them the most. He was a leader and told the d-backs where to be constantly. Also, not having Urlacher to call in the plays is not helping any.

Would the Bears have a better record if they still had Orton? NO. He would probably be in a hospital right now. It's very apparent that you either haven't watched a Bears game or just don't know what you're talking about. That's being honest, and also right.

Did you even watch that game? Cutler? The Bears had absolutely no defense. The safeties were playing 50 yards off the line in every 3rd and long and just begging the Bengals to throw deep down the middle (which they did every time). Williams had a false start on the first offensive play of the game, only to set the tone for the remainder of the game. Frank Omiyale couldn't block a 7th grader. He was letting guys walk around him to pound Cutler. We've got Ron Turner trying to run Garrett Wolf up the middle when a) He's tiny, and b) the o-line CANNOT run block. This team, coaching staff, and management are an embarrassment, and it's not because of Cutler. It was 28-0 in the first half when Cutler threw an interception. When guys are sitting on your head, your defense is letting the opposing punter sleep the entire game, and you have absolutely no running game, it is quite possible that an interception may occur.

The funniest play of the game had to be when the Bears finally forced Cinnci to punt in the 4th quarter, Jamar Williams decided to rough the punter and give them the first down. That's awesome!

And please, stop already with the Orton/Cutler comparisons. You can't be serious. Really? That has got to be the most ridiculous argument that I have heard in a long time.

The real story here is not about Milton. It's about Jim Hendry signing this headcase to a 3-yr, $30 million contract when there were better, cheaper players available. Now what? He's been a cancer on this team, hasn't hit all season, and now is waging a war with the media and fans. He's also lying to the media everyday to get out of the lies from the day before. Hendry was absolutely crazy for signing this guy.

I don't care who's in the "spotlight" with the media, but rather who brings it come game day. Cutler will. Urlacher will. Story over. Good luck with Orton, Denver, even though everyone knows that Simms is better and McDumbarse has been forced to name Kyle the starter because it would kind of look bad if he traded Cutler for a backup (which he did).

Yeah, I sure wish the Bears still had Orton under center...........uh.....wait a minute, oh, no I don't. Does anyone want to hear the truth anymore. Yeah, Cutler probably shouldn't have said what he said, but it's true. You can't throw a jump ball to Hester and a good cornerback. The cornerback wins that battle everytime. Cutler's just figuring out what he has to work with (which is very little without Forte and Olsen on the field).
