Woodson idea of making Carmelo a point/power forward made no sense to me. He had way too much on his plate. They have 3 point guards on that team and they dont even use them. J R Smith his defense was disgraceful. J R and Carmelo except all their teammates to do all the dirty work while they chuck up bricks and freeze the entire team.
Felton has no connection with Chandler. Kidd did not score for 10 games!! Carmelo playing point forward that does not pass. Last year they were a team that would do anything for each other. The Knicks are not a team, just a group of individuals.

Inside presents was David Lee. No one excepted that he was going to get hurt. When Lee is playing, everyone knows their roles. With that missing, it was always going to be a problem. Landry can post up, but when he gets the ball no one else is going to touch it and becomes a little selfish.
No use getting Paul Pierce, HB grew so much in the playoffs because of the minutes he played. You can see he has picked up some moves from Pierce. One step jump shot became very effective. With Rush coming back it will give a lot less pressure on the guard rotation. They really need a center that can score a little and shoot the free throws.

I think Melo shooting is not a problem. Problem is 2 players doing that. J R Smith attitude has always been about himself. He is a distraction. Only reason he wanted to be a Knick was when all the media hype was there when Lin was playing. His attitude destroyed team. It's obvious Woodson is pissed at him. Woodson does not want to be the next Mike Brown. Being a coach that is a hostage to a player. Isolation plays will never win a championshp. If Rondo was playing it would have been another first round exit.

Totally agree with your comments. But saying Mark Jackson is not a very good coach is wrong. David Lee was 30 percent of the offense. Without D Lee the look lost at times, but Coach MJ has done a great job with the hand he was dealt. They beat the Nuggets and they are in the second round. Also have to remember Green and Ezeli are rookies. Klay has only played one season. Curry has played nearly every game this season. Bogut is only able to play 20-25 minutes a game. Still a very very young team. 3 rookies contributing. The positives are there. To win a championship... A long way to go.

Every DPOY player usually averages around 3 fouls a game. Lebron average 1.45 this season. There was a time he committed 2 fouls in 299 minutes of court time. Lazy defender. Only likes to defend when it can make a high light.
