Posted Friday August 14, 2009, About: Balsillie bringing Leafs into Coyotes fight
I'm getting tired of this Balsillie guy and his shiney bald head. Look, there's proper way to do things called PROCEDURE. Whether or not Hamilton get the franchise is not the point. You can't let an individual just come into a league and decide to move a team wherever he wants just because he has a boatload of money. That's anarchy. If Balsillie is allowed to do this, then any team in any sport will be allowed to move anywhere they want. If he wants a team in Hamilton bad enough, he should start up his own hockey league.
Posted Friday August 14, 2009, About: Nets uniform change irks politician
If the Nets kept Dr. J when the entered the league, they would've been richer in history, tradition, and more relevent than they are now. Keeping Julius would have drawn better players to join the Nets to have a chance to play with the Doctor. New Jersey probably would have had a championship or two on their resume. There's nothing bad about New Jersey, as they can easily support any sport franchise willing to be there.
Posted Friday July 03, 2009, About: Marbury's Celtics run over?
What did he expect to get offered after his performance last season? Just yesterday he described himself as "mentally damaged''.
Posted Tuesday June 09, 2009, About: Wilfork: I don't want to leave Patriots
Guess he likes Richard Seymour.
Posted Saturday March 07, 2009, About: Shaq refuses Van Gundy's apology
Shaq has the respect of many of his fellow NBA players. You rarely ever hear of him being dissed by them. He's like the "Godfather". That's why even Van Gundy's own players wouldn't defend him. That's also why Chris Bosh was bummin' when Shaq referred to him as the "Rue Paul of Big Men". No player wants to mess with him. Van Gundy better stay away from any loose balls going out of bounds, if Shaq is on the floor.
Posted Thursday January 08, 2009, About: Red Sox close to signing Baldelli, Smoltz
Good move, Sox. Smoltz still has some gas left in the tank and Baldelli can stii hit, (provided he stays healthy, of course). Sign 'em cheap now, Matt Holliday will be available after this season.
Posted Thursday January 08, 2009, About: Red Sox close to signing Baldelli, Smoltz
Good move Sox. Smoltz still has some gas in the tank and Baldelli can still hit, (providing he stays healthy, of course). Sign 'em cheap, Halladay will be available after next season.
Posted Sunday December 21, 2008, About: Belichick wants cameras on goal line
Great idea. There's been a lot af strange calls reguarding the end zone, especially this year. I saw T.O. score a "breaking the plane" TD the first game of the year, only the refs put the ball where this knees where down on the half-inch line. In another game, a TD was scored as the runner crossed the end zone by jumping from the one inch line to diagonally out of bounds. just beyond the TD corner marker. The refs had to huddle to agree of it was a score. Why the huddle?, it was a no-brainer, the ball broke the plane. The NFL has to fine tune their "knees vs plane rule" when the ball get close to the end zone. The refs have to all be on the same page reguarding this. I can't belive financial investment in adding cameras to the goal line is an issue with the NFL.
Posted Friday December 19, 2008, About: Why Sundin picked Canucks over Rangers
Sour grapes NY Post. Vancouver is a beautiful city, from what I hear. The Canucks have a decent team. It's not like he went to a poor team just for the money.
Posted Friday December 19, 2008, About: Are Red Sox bluffing Teixeira?
Sox can win without him.
Posted Friday December 19, 2008, About: Marbury pays steep price for publicity stunt
The cost of that seat was "chicken-feed" to Stephon, considering he's getting paid to do NOTHING.
Posted Thursday December 18, 2008, About: Marbury predicts shocking signing
No playoff team would want a malcontent disrupting their chemistry.
Posted Wednesday December 17, 2008, About: Exiled Marbury attends Knicks game
He should have been dressed in Laker gear. That would have gotten a great response from the Knicks.
Posted Wednesday December 17, 2008, About: Derrick Coleman's wife denies financial woes
So what's the big deal. Most of us are broke.
Posted Saturday December 13, 2008, About: Canucks leading Sundin chase
You know after all this fanfare about him returning, he'll get a groin injury shortly after returning to the ice.
Posted Saturday December 13, 2008, About: Sources: Hull out as Stars co-GM
If he showed some effort, that would have been a great job for him. Getting baked while watching minor league hockey games.
Posted Saturday December 13, 2008, About: New look for Red Sox uniforms
It would have been better to put a "$" sign on their caps instead of those childish hanging socks. Ditch the socks on the cap, keep the "B".
Posted Saturday December 13, 2008, About: Did Seahawks reject Holmgren's second thoughts?
How about the thought of Holmgren coaching the Jets next year if they fail to make the playoffs?
Posted Sunday November 30, 2008, About: Did Richardson's trash-talking frustrate Pierce?
Damn!...now everybody knows how to stop Pierce, just trash talk him. I mean, he only scored 22 points and his team won. Like we really care who you have respect for, Q.
Posted Saturday November 22, 2008, About: Red Sox, Yanks fighting over Lowe, too
Lowe has always wanted to come back to Boston. He may take less than what other teams offer.
Posted Saturday November 22, 2008, About: Knicks make room for LeBron
Knicks can keep dreaming. Lebron's going to the Nets to play for his man Jay-Z.
