I don't see how Adams is the top DT recruit, the raw talent and size is there but his fundamentals are an eye sore, and struggled to find the football at times. Whoever gets him will have to spend 2 years teaching him to play the position

I think Derek Dooley would be a good canidate, He wants to run the spread, he'll bring better emphasis on defense, and TTU doesnt have Bama, Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina every year on their schedule. Tennessee had 5 teams ranked in the top 20 on their schedule. Coaching is in his bloodline, and a place where there's not as much pressure to win and the schedule is not as tough would be a good fit for Dooley.

The way the braves have been pitching, I wouldn't rule anything out. Especially with Jones, Lowe, and Bourn's contract off the books next season; they could easily backload a 3 year deal for him just to try to win the division this season and maybe get back to the WS

The minute Pujols starts swinging the bat like we all know he can (he was slow out of the gates last season and still had a great year), then the angels will move right along, 130 plus games are still left to be played.

I agree, nobody talks about how banged up the steeler defense was for that game
Posted Wednesday February 22, 2012, About: Johnson dishes on Hawks issues
This is the most outspoken I've ever seen from Joe Johnson. He is one of the most apathetic individuals in the NBA
Posted Monday November 14, 2011, About: Luck's Heisman campaign in doubt?
That's ashame because he is playing with the worst supporting cast I've every seen, you can only be so dynamic with 3 TEs in the formation. He's by far the best pro-style QB at the college ranks. Anybody that thinks otherwise probably thought that Ryan Leaf was a better QB than Peyton Manning
Posted Tuesday November 01, 2011, About: RichRod on Tulane's short list
I think Rich Rod is good enough to coach in a BCS conference, he needs to make sure that the school already has the tools for him to run his offense or atleast the patience to avoid another Michigan disaster
Posted Wednesday October 26, 2011, About: Big East on life support
I didnt say they would dominate. Alabama, LSU, and Florida (excluding this past few seasons) will most likely be the heirarchy. But now their will be a scramble of 6 or 7 teams that can play and be as good as another conference's #2, #3, or #4. And at any given year the SEC could have 9 members in the top 25. There's gonna be some losing envolved, unless you get the schedule that UGA got this year. Mizz and A&M are solid and they will compete, I dont know why they are being downplayed in this discussion.

If i'm Auburn or Arkansas and my shedule included Alabama, LSU, Ole Miss, Miss St., Georgia, Florida, Texas A&M, and Mizzou and I have to go to the swamp, college station, and Baton Rouge....that's a gauntlet. That schedule would be tougher than any one in the Pac-12, Big 12, and Big 10 would have to play

This guy should definitely stay for his Sr. year
Posted Wednesday October 26, 2011, About: Big East on life support
Tradition and logic has taken a backseat to money. I would like to see how Arkansas, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and Auburn respond when they go 3-5 in conference play and watch lesser teams from other conferences get better bowl bids. And Kentucky, Vandy, and Ole Miss go 1-7 or 0-8. If the SEC gets up to 16 teams, that conference will break in half

wow, it's amazing that these players are willing to jump overseas for those weaks contracts but yet they won't budge on the huge multimillion dollar contracts they have with their current francises.
Posted Friday September 30, 2011, About: MWC commish takes shot at Big East
With Pitt on Cuse on the move, the MWC has a much better argument being a BC qualifier. I just see Big East Football completely dissolve over the the next 5 years
Posted Saturday August 13, 2011, About: Big 12 targeting Notre Dame, BYU?
ND doesn't need a BCS conference to play for a national title so why would they even consider sharing their TV revenue that they make off NBC with 10 or 11 other schools if the joined the Big 12. The landscape of college football would have to drastically change for ND to join a conference.
