Posted Wednesday August 21, 2013, About: Von Miller listed as witness in 2012 murder
I would like to point out that I have been called as a witness in a murder trial and have never had run-ins with the law. I'd be concerned if he were called as a defendant or a "person of interest", but as a witness he may just have been at the location at the time. Sometimes you don't have any connection.

That's gonna be a delay of game penalty right there.
Posted Sunday May 13, 2012, About: Will Miller return to Nuggets?
We wouldn't blame anything that happened this year on Melo. Most of us are glad to see him gone. Great skills, but a selfish player that doesn't know the word defense. I see your big NY team with Melo made it far this post season. Get used to it.
Posted Wednesday April 04, 2012, About: Tollefson daring Raiders to sign him?
The Raiders got hurt in free agency and salary slashing this year. It would be nice for us to get win and sign him.

Consider the source. Nuff said.
Posted Saturday March 24, 2012, About: Hoge: Tebow, Jets are clueless
You must live here in Denver, because you are spouting the same fallacies that everyone else here does. Truth? Elway was a damned good QB and recognized that there were more problems than Timmy's poor throwing. He couldn't read a defense, and if his first option wasn't open, he tucked it and ran. That won a few games, but the truth is that the defense kept them in those games where he played poorly, and when teams overplayed his run game he hit one pass and it was the one that counted.

Tebow is a wonderful young man. The NFL needs more guys with his character. But for QB talent, he's lacking. He's in the bottom quarter of the league. He'll be continue to be someone's option for the next few years until people figure out that he's overrated.
Posted Friday March 23, 2012, About: RGIII's arm stronger than Luck's?
Yep, I was thinking of JaMarcus when this story came out. I think he could throw the pigskin 70 yards from his knees. Illustrates why arm strength alone does not make the QB. As far as I know, he's still avaliable as a free agent....
Posted Tuesday March 20, 2012, About: Did Manning pick the wrong horse?
Yes, but you are comparing him to the poor QBs that Denver had prior, not to better than average QBs. Also, you say "until they start losing", which is what they did at the end of the regular season, backing into the playoffs only because Oakland couldn't win a game either.

Look, I'm not a Broncos fan. I'd love to see the Broncos keep Timmy. Truth is, you'll not do much more than .500 EVER with him. Why do you think no other teams are chomping at the bit to get him? Is it because all of the NFL coaches and GMs know LESS about the game than you do, so therefore they don't see the potential he has that you can spot?
Posted Tuesday March 20, 2012, About: Did Manning pick the wrong horse?
They are talking about Elway. They should have said "wrong Donkey". Hee hawwwww!
Posted Tuesday March 20, 2012, About: Did Manning pick the wrong horse?
A Denver homer. You need to look at the quality of the teams Teblow played against and beat. He didn't beat anyone good except the Squealers when they were beat up. Any quality opponent beat him up. Timmy is a nice boy, and mama should be proud. He's not the answer, unless the question is "Which Bronco quarterback should get traded or released ASAP?"

BTW, did you actually WATCH Tebow throw last year, or did you just bow down to him and avert your eyes like all the other Denver homers here (I live here too)? He was about as accurate as my lawn sprinkler.
Posted Tuesday March 20, 2012, About: Did Manning pick the wrong horse?
Yes, but now we must start the rumor that Brett Favre is coming out of retirement to back him up in Denver!

I am very impressed that a UK grad actually was able to count to 20. Congrats.
Posted Friday March 09, 2012, About: 'Skins more likely to land RG3 than Manning
They always quote someone "with knowledge of the situation". Hell, I have knowledge of the situation, and I can make some pretty outlandish statements - come quote me!
Posted Wednesday February 22, 2012, About: Best bet for a combine freak show
Hmm, I've heard of Starr, Montana and Brady, but who is this no-name Bradshaw guy you mention, Ironman?....

(just yanking your Iron Chain!)
Posted Wednesday February 22, 2012, About: Gruden on Dalton: 'He better get better'
Somewhere, Pete Townsend and The Who are trying to find a way to make a comeback song with Gruden - You Better Get Better You Bet.
Posted Sunday February 19, 2012, About: RGIII's shotgun draft drawback
Very disjointed writing. What are you trying to say?
Posted Thursday February 16, 2012, About: Colston or Nicks? That's the Saints' question
True, but I think the point that Zeeker was trying to make was that for every $ a QB takes, that's one less $ to pay for a good offensive line to protect you, or one less $ to pay a receiver with good hands to catch your passes. How many millions do you need?

Posted Thursday February 16, 2012, About: Raiders GM sends stern message to players
And let me just add to my previous response. Al would give the new coach exactly 6 games to make the team a winner. If they were not winning by the 6th game, Al was already looking for a way to get rid of the coach and find a successor. The new GM, McKenzie, knows that consistency is important. He said so multiple times. He should understand that Allen will need to get his system in place for awhile before the consistent winning happens.
Posted Thursday February 16, 2012, About: Raiders GM sends stern message to players
All of us Raiders fans need to understand that this is a major rebuild. We may lose players we like, and we will probably take a few steps back before we go forward. Don't expect a miracle in the 2012-2013 season. But do expect some major changes that can bring the Raiders back to winning.
Posted Thursday February 16, 2012, About: Raiders GM sends stern message to players
Um, wrong. Al Davis consistently hired offensively minded head coaches. Not since Madden did they have a defensively minded coach. Your comment has no merit.
