The Rock was injured in the match and his contract is up. I don't see him back in wrestling for a long time.

Why were comments #1 and #23 deleted? Is it because the user left the group because it can't be because of what was said.
Posted Friday April 12, 2013, About: Wild Swings from the 90's? (MLB)
There are two that I am thinking of, who had the ugliest of swings but were both very good in their prime.

What's up with right not putting up an argument?

From a business standpoint, it would be a bad decision. She stands no chance of making the team and this is a business based on high stakes competition. It would be a joke.

But that's the point. Mark Cuban may actually do it. And if he does, he'd be a fool. But there is definitely a chance that out of all the owners in the NBA he'd be the one to draft her, just because.

I don't think it's against league rules to draft a woman. That would be legal discrimination.
Posted Saturday March 30, 2013, About: Preference - Spurs or OKC
True but this is still just the regular season. Duncan is pushing it very hard now and you have to wonder will he have much left in late April, early May.

Not a problem, with the lack of activity on the site now, it's totally good to make things more active.
I wanted to add the video of Sugar Ray Leonard getting destroyed by Camacho but didn't have time to find the link on how to post a youtube video. It was horrible to watch.
Gretzky wasn't a good example and I was merely just referring to his only have 9 goals in his final season. However, his assists and contribution to the team means I shouldn't have included him on this list. Actually, I wanted to say Gordie Howe, but maybe he also doesn't fit here. It was good to see him out there.
Posted Friday March 22, 2013, About: Which Rocky movie was the most realistic?
It was a great, great movie. Those elements are what made it a great movie. The fact that there was very little chance it could happen in real life. I'm not suggesting that it was impossible, but what's more likely: A trainer and boxer getting into a bar fight or a club fighter getting a chance to fight for the title?
Posted Thursday March 21, 2013, About: Which Rocky movie was the most realistic?
Douglass had fought for a title previously and was a rated challenger. The reason for the odds is because Tyson was considered unbeatable.
Posted Thursday March 21, 2013, About: Which Rocky movie was the most realistic?
As I mentioned in the TD, Braddock was a former contender and fought for the title. Rocky was as Mickey quoted "a bum".
Posted Wednesday March 20, 2013, About: Which Rocky movie was the most realistic?
Agreed, it probably was the worst, but as I noted, definitely more realistic.
Posted Wednesday March 13, 2013, About: Re-write Jordan nba history........
Interesting point. I would have liked to see what had become of them if they stayed together. They probably would have to have gotten a new coach. I think George Karl would have worn them down.
Posted Monday March 11, 2013, About: Are the Nuggets serious contenders in the West?
No one on the current Clippers has averaged 25pts a game and none of the Spurs will come close to this mark at their age.
Posted Monday March 11, 2013, About: Are the Nuggets serious contenders in the West?
The only Western conference team with a top level def is Memphis and they have an anemic offense. In a first rd series, I'd take Denver and their offensive/defensive balance, over Memphis and their offensive/defensive balance. After that, they'd probably play San Antonio, a matchup in which I feel they can win.
Posted Monday March 11, 2013, About: Are the Nuggets serious contenders in the West?
This is the same exact thing that Denver does. George Karl's offense revolves around moving the ball and I'm sure if Gallinari, Lawson or even McGee were to get 24 shots a game, they'd probably average over 20 pts a game.
Posted Monday March 11, 2013, About: Are the Nuggets serious contenders in the West?
True but with the exception of OKC, no other top Western team has a legitimate top level scorer.
