The difference is, Sandy Tool, that you're referencing a Miami lull (where Coker let recruiting and therefore the program rot) in between eras of dominance. I'm sorry, when was the last time Purdue was dominant? Miami would eat Purdue and **** it out.

BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAA!!!! **** that was hilarious. "Purdue" LOL!

"That's it Miami Herald; make a public rift between coach and coordinator. Now you can make it that much easier to lose a good offensive coordinator for the Canes over a basic sideline spat." Well said. Irks me! Everyone nees to s t f u and let it go. Losing Whipple next year (a distinct possibility) would be a huge blow.

"The U is dead" LOL! You either don't follow college ball much or are just a downright idiot. Miami has one of the most stacked 2-deep rosters in the nation (we have probably a dozen kidss on each side of the ball who will play on Sundays) and they are almost ALL true freshmen and sophomores. This team is SO talented but SO youn, hence the results this season. The Canes will give a serious run at the 2010-2012 national titles, just like they did in 2000-2002.

The U is far from dead, it's just being revived and getting primed for another run of dominance.... and people like you are going to just HATE it! Nothing makes me happier. ;)

.... and GT will not run all over Miami again this season. We're gonna have one of the most talented D Lines in the nation, and a LB corps full of young talent flying around and a senior anchor in the middle. You'll come at us one dimensional again, and once the triple option is brought to a halt you'll have no answer. Canes by 7+

Jacory is the real deal. I know HS performance doesn't always translate to the higher game, but some of things this kid was able to do at NW were magic. And he showed some really bright moments last season as well.... albeit some bad ones too since he was 18yrs old and playing in environments like the Swamp. And remember, he was the leader of an 8 man deep team that has been playing together for years and won a HS NC together and now are all at The U, including his main wideout. Aldarius and him showed amazing chemistry at times last season.

He is real small though, and now it???s a one-hit-we're-done situation.... I'm not gonna panic until there's reason to, as it's good to have even ONE good QB again..... but I???ll be cringing every time he gets hit this year, that???s for sure.

No, he's a kid who actively (and successfully) ran a false bulls--t smear campaign against a school which had given him a scholarship - downright lying to the media which bit on it hook line and sinker. I don't wish injuries on anyone, but you won't see me shedding a tear over this story after the knife he left buried in our back. Heck no. Again I say, karma's a b--ch!

Karma's a b---h isn't it, Marve?
Posted Wednesday May 06, 2009, About: Marve ready to pick Purdue?
Purdue and Tenn, yep, REAL close to your ailing father that you "had" to remain near but Miami was too soulless to allow you to. Hmmmmm, maybe they saw right through your bs. What a **** joke! Good riddance to you and your entire lying manipulative family. And cheers, national press, for falling for their ruse hook-line-and-sinker and jumping at any chance to take pot shots at Miami.

Karma's a b---h, ain't it?
Posted Friday April 17, 2009, About: Marve to visit Sun Devils
What happened to the crying and moaning from the Marve family and the sports media that Miami was being so inhumanely cruel because they were restricting Marve's ability to play close to South Florida where he absolutely HAD to stay to be close to his father with cancer?!!? The states of Arizona, Indiana, Nebraska and Texas are sure REAL CLOSE to South Florida!

What an absolute joke! Marve you are garbage we kicked to the curb, you're a pre-madonna ego maniac and will never have the dedication and work ethic to be successful. Eugene you are a lying piece of venemous trash! And the entire sports media should be ashamed for falling for the Marve family ruse hook line and sinker.
Posted Sunday April 12, 2009, About: Miami's local recruiting eroding?
*yawns* Have you seen our recruiting classes the past two years? Other schools were snatching kids from Dade/Broward because the program had been allowed to rot under Coker. No kid wants to come play for a team that is in shambles and not headed anywhere good. Randy has righted the ship, our last two recruiting classes have been PHENOMENAL!, Randy absolutely HAS restaken our rightful claim to SoFla, and the program is headed back to glory... possibly as soon as 2010.

So , some schools (like UF on a run of Nat championships) have been able to steal a few recruits. Who cares! It's a testament to how down the Miami program was, not proof positive that Miami can't dominate the South Florida recruiting base when the program is firing on all cylindars. Just wait and watch the next 3-4 years.

GO CANES!!
Posted Wednesday March 18, 2009, About: Notre Dame, Miami may resume series
I love all the hating, just wait and watch The U start dominating college football YET AGAIN in another year or two. This year we'll be young again but with ridiculous talent all over the field, by 2010 we'll have a team so stacked with talent that it will remind you of the 1999-2002 era, when we routinely made up about half the first round of each year's NFL draft.

I'd love to renew the series with ND. I think it will be a total thrashing for the Irish though, as to my knowledge they dont have the young talent we have and arent beginning the same resurgence that we are. We'll see what happens.

GO CANES!!!

Posted Wednesday January 28, 2009, About: Miami losing grip on commitments?
What does Miami have to offer? Let's see: the best chance in the country for an 18yr old to get playing time (even start!) immediately while getting as good of national exposure as anywhere in the country... become part of NFL U... join a unit that is quickly gelling together and become a family as much or more than anywhere in the national under the fatherly-like guidance of Randy Shannon... join the easy-to-see Miami resurgence that is happening and have a hand in quite possibly raising a national championship in the 2010 season, maybe another in 2011. Yeah, you're right, 'nothing' to offer indeed.
Posted Sunday January 25, 2009, About: Top RB recruit won't sign until March
As much as I want him to come to The U he is smart to wait and see who our OC is... he needs to make sure he'll go to a system that will ephasize the run, since his options at this point are pretty much limitless. Come to Coral Gables, Bryce, be part of the resurgence of The U and have a hand in raising a national chapionship trophy in 2010!
Posted Monday November 24, 2008, About: Leach: OU should be ahead of Texas
It's not always about head-to-head. The fact is that TT was playing a bit over their head, they are not as loaded of a team on a two-deep roster as OU and Texas. Yes, Texas beat Oklahoma, but OU's only loss is to a better team (IMO). The exact same thing happened in 2000 to Miami, the Hurricanes beat FSU head-to-head but the Noles' only loss was to Miami, and Miami's loss was to a worse team (Washington) - and FSU edged them in the BCS. Head to head is important, but it's not the only factor. If OU goes and stomps OSU I think there is a good chance they'll pass Texas on the BCS... and in my opinion, justifiably so.

I'm somebody who had an amazing experience at the University of Miami and will hold it close to heart and call it my own for as long as I live, as do almost all alumni and those involved with this amazing school. I say again: You clearly must not have had the pleasure of going to a true college. I feel sad for you.

Yes, as an alumni I am part of the University and always will be, and that is OUR team, all of us involved with the school as one... You clearly must not have had the pleasure of going to a true college. I feel sad for you.

"If the 'U' is for university and winning and championships, we're the 'U,'" he said. "They are Miami, and that's what I call them." - Florida WR Murphy

Keep runnin yer yap, I love it!! Best way for us to pull off the shocker on Saturday: an arrogant trash-talking Gator squad dissing Miami and firing up the Canes.

Ohhh, and Murphy, check your history, bud, in 25yrs we've won more than twice as many championships as your program has in its history.

Buckeyedude, you missed the point... I am older than you think and of course I remember the days of the Canes giving a new definition to cocky (not days I'm proud of by the way, and not the way we are anymore), but that wasn't the point of my post... my point right NOW (as in today, not the past) is that all of the pressure is on UF this weekend. Miami has nothing to lose and everything to gain, we're supposed to get creamed, nobody is giving us a chance, and so if we lose it isn't a huge deal, but if we win it is gigantic! Florida on the other hand is a heavy favorite, likely looking past us, and doesn't have much to gain (ie: they're supposed to win by 2-3Tds, anything less and people will question the performance) and everything to lose as Miami getting a W in the Swamp would be catostrophic for UF.

That was my point, being overly cocky right now and looking past Miami could come back to bite them in the ****. Isn't tht exactly what i said? I wasn't talking about the 80s, bud.
