the heat's half court O heavily relies on ISO w/c is their weakness. they tend to struggle when they can't go out on the break. its not that the big 3 can't score. but when things don't go their way, they tend to collapse and ISO ball definitely does not help. what nash brings is better flow on offense and better utilization on the big 3. i don't think LBJ and Dwade would mind not having the ball if it would mean having open lanes/shots. if you have 2.5 potent offensive players, definitely 1 of them would have and easy shot and nash is very keen on that. nash would make the heat unpredictable on the half court and even more dangerous.
i'm not a heat fan, but i'd love to see Nash play for miami.
1. nash can up bosh's offense. 2. he can create open lanes/shots for both LBJ and DWade. 3. he's a capable shooter. 4. heat will be better on the break 5. better half court offense. i think they struggle in this area. pick n' roll w/ bosh would be hard to stop esp when you have LBJ and wade on your wing. i think nash can help w/ bron's struggles in the 4th. wade is just to good and i think he can still play well w/o the ball.
he has great defensive wings to help him out on D. if the price is right, i think miami should try to get nash. i don't think he'll turn out to be like bibby.
with more experience Lin will have better judgement and balance to his game. he can make his shot, is a willing passer and performs under pressure. if he can develop better shooting and passing, opportunities for attacking the basket should always be there for him. Lin is fairly athletic but he will be able to attack the basket by keeping his opponents guessing whether he shoots or passes. with STAT and Melo, a defensive breakdown should open things up for Lin to attack the basket.
when Durant sits put in Westbrook. if both RW and Durant are on the floor, let smarter and level headed Harden handle the ball. trading Curry for RW would hurt both Warriors and OKC (would hurt Warriors a lot more IMO)
this could very well be 1 of the rare instances i won't agree with you. Kobe was a heck of a player at that time but i don't think his value matched Nash's during his MVP years. LA don't struggle the way the Suns do when their top player is not on the floor. i would even dare say that some games when kobe was not on the floor, LA actually played better. skill vs skill Nash would not have a chance against Kobe but we're talking MVP here. his value should be measured based on his impact on the team.

....funny thread
i do agree though that had Nash stayed w/ the Mavs, they would've had a better chance of winning it all.
