Huh? The Celtics had no chance at Duncan. Tim was taken #1 overall, Boston drafted #3 and #6. Was a crap draft year, Pitino's first season. He took his boy Ron Mercer with the #6 pick. Pitino later said if he'd known the Celtics wouldn't get the #1 overall he'd have never taken the job. With two high lottery picks he was sure he'd have Tim Duncan to build the team around.

Uh, he was drafted by and played his rookie year with the Celtics. The Pistons were his FIFTH team after bouncing around for 6 years.

Ridiculous. Zambrano is a nut job with a ridiculous contract, at least Peavy is seemingly sane with a manageable salary. No way the White Sox would make such a deal. Only way the White Sox take on Z is if they don't have to give up much for him AND the Cubs subsidize a portion of that bloated contract.

The scoreboard is HIGHER than NFL regulations require and was very carefully and expensively designed. Hardly a "last minute" deal.

The NFL is offering pet jerseys, a legitimate product, that a REPORTER ordered customized with Vick's name an number on it in order to create a story where there is none.

And the idiots reading this crap buy it as a legit story about a marketing ploy by the NFL.
