I remember a couple of years ago at Lowe's Motor Speedway the 48 was 3 laps down about 30% into the race and he ended up winning, my lady friend at the time wanted me to explain to her how this happens, Lowe's car at Lowe's track comes back from 3 laps down and wins. My reply; "Err, ah, well you see, really fast, good driver, best driver, car, owner, OK OK this whole thing smells of WWF, at least they don't wear tights, oh, you like that part, that figures, I suppose you wouldn't mind cleaning up after them would you? I suppose you would rather clean up their room after a wild night on the town, huh?" Somehow she won. Needless to say that was the end of that.
Wouldn't it be cool if someone took out the 48 early in the race? On second thought JJ would find some way of coming back and winning, even if he is 40 laps down, his car in flames, fans in the 4 to 8 front rows of section 6 all dead or on their way to a hospital, nothing matters he must win and the 'brain-trust' at Nascar will make it so.
Free the 33 car and give CB the points back that you took away because he did not meet your ideal candidate for Champion. WWFCAR
The sweet part of that is Toyota has gotten too big, just like the 'big 3' back in the 1970's. The quality of cars and trucks they are putting out has diminished due to becoming complacence with their product.
Bottom line Ford is the new Toyota when it comes to quality, I'd buy anything Ford is producing (except any small 4-door compact which I find insulting).
