Doesn't surprise me one bit. I have a feeling Columbus is going to struggle next season and will have a sell off.

I, personally, think they misutilized GBS this season and it showed at the end of the season.

Though I wouldn't want to be that person. If he did take over as majority owner, every failure would fall on him and not so much the players or the coaching staff.

I was happy and sad at the same time. Liverpool is my "second" team when it comes to the top four. I've got a bit of a mancrush on Torres. lol.

But it was good to see Ol' Bobby and Clint get on the scoresheet. I love Zamora and his work ethic. He just needs to score a bit more so people would get off his back.

I'm all for this at the moment. Hull is in a world of trouble, Brown only has a few more weeks, and having a new coach could do more harm for Jozy than good.

The best thing he can hope to do is go back to Villarreal, go out on loan somewhere in January where he can actually play and hope to get sold in the summer. The La Liga experiment is never really going to happen for him.

His biggest problem at the moment is he can't do ANYTHING. Villa won't send him out on loan as insurance in case something happens to Friedel, and Friedel is still looking too impressive to give Guzan a run in anything other than a cup game.

But that's not exactly a bad thing. He's young, and keepers have a much longer life span than outfield players.

The way I have read everything was that this is a permanent move. Doesn't really make sense to me, unless he just really wanted to go back to Mexico. That I can understand, but is there really that much of a difference between MLS and the Mexican 2nd division?

I've never really been a fan, but I know he was a good asset to have in MLS. Oh well.

I don't know. United has always had good support from the fans, and moving them to a location obviously NOT DC, a la NJRB, that could hurt them.

But at the same time, they really need to get out of RFK and in to a smaller stadium. They would do well with a good 20-28k seater stadium.

Even the ignorant and untrained would agree that firing your coach before the WC is stupid. There's no way we would be able to bring someone in and give them the proper time to make their mark and get things ready.

I just say we ride out this Bradley experiment, and if we tank and go three and out - then he can be shown the door politely. Things have not been pretty, but he has done a fairly decent job. Especially at giving the younger generation some experience when plausible.

I got my copy of FIFA 10 last night. I broke down and had to run to Best Buy and pick it up.

So far ... I'm digging it. It's a bit different with the controls, but much smoother and realistic.

If anyone wants to spar off online (ps3), let me know. I need to get better!

As for the actual, T&N - any young American trying to ply his trade in Europe can't hurt. Especially at his young age.

And this is the reason why I would have flipped my lid if they gave Miami a MLS club. They can't support **** down there!

Let's just write off Florida in general for sports outside of college sports and be done with it. There are just some places in this country that can't handle having a soccer team in their backyard.

Can't say he's wrong. There were couple of Mexican challenges that if they were American players, they would have gotten yellow. While the ref didn't give Mexico the win, it didn't help the mentality of the US players.

There really were some poor non-calls, and calls that went against the wrong team. Oh well. You can't even be surprised by that anymore when it's the USMNT.

Hrmm. I must say, this shocks me. I figured the Hunt family would be more keen on Columbus and righting the ship that is FC Dallas. But it also makes sense. West Ham is a decent team in the EPL and they have good, solid support. If this happens, I'm sure West Ham will make summer vacations a regular event.

I'm sure Turbina Amarilla and the rest of the boys in the Nordecke wouldn't mind seeing them again.
