Chuck needs to retire. It's sad watching him get his **** beat every time he steps in the ring. Kind of like watching Brett Favre this season with the Jets!!
Posted Monday January 12, 2009, About: Giants GM open to Plaxico return
Let's see...he violates team rules whenever he feels like it, yet the Giants reward him with a big contract. Then the dumba@@ breaks the law and shoots himself in the leg. Yeah- sounds like a player I'd want on my team!!
Posted Monday January 12, 2009, About: Could Favre replace Delhomme?
That would just be stupid! Why trade a old quarterback that was responsible for 6 turnovers in a playoff game for an even OLDER quarterback who throws more INT's than TD's??? The Panthers need to start grooming a young quarterback. As bad as Jake was...I place ALOT of the blame on the coaches' play calling. On offense...why in the hell would they start trying to out-throw the Cardinals when they have one of the best running back tandems in the NFL??? And, on defense... there's no excuse for their coverage of Fitzgerald (especially with Boldin out of the game!!)
Posted Wednesday December 10, 2008, About: Sources: Allen thought he was done for season
Karma is a motherf*%#@$. Maybe this will get his attention, because repeated fines haven't had any affect. SQUEEB...are you talking about that cheap shot where Gus flopped over on his belly and acted like he was hurt? Reminded me of a soccer player.
Posted Wednesday December 10, 2008, About: Jets WR unhappy with Favre
Crybaby Coles is at it again!! This all started when Coles' feelings were hurt by how the Jets treated his BFF, Chad Pennington. Coles needs to just shut up and play...everytime he opens his mouth he shows what a dumba@@ he is!! Talk about selfish and immature...his team has a shot to make the play-offs and this is what he does?? Most wide receivers would give their left nut to play with Farve.
Posted Thursday October 30, 2008, About: Chiefs' Johnson done for year?
LJ obviously has issues...even before this latest incident of threatening and/or assaulting women (is this #3 or 4??), he's earned the reputation of being lazy and immature. There is something seriously wrong with this dude...he doesn't deserve to play in the NFL. Maybe he and M. Vick can hang out 2gether when Vick gets out of prison...Vick can torture and kill some more dogs and LJ can assault a few more women. Matt Jones can supply the cocaine. What a party!!
Posted Sunday February 10, 2008, About: Should Giants trade Shockey?
Let's see... he elects to sit in a sky box, getting his drink on during the super bowl instead of being on the sideline with his team. He then choses to skip the victory parade celebrating the Giants' win. I don't care how good a player is if they are this selfish and immature. The Giants were able to go on a winning streak AND win the Super Bowl without "Mr. Me-first Shockey". Why would they want to keep a guy like this on their team??
Posted Sunday February 10, 2008, About: Possible suitors for Pacman
Pacman is an idiot... he obviously has not learned his lesson, as he is STILL going to strip clubs. Rational people that are suspended from their jobs do everything humanly possible to change their behavior in order to show they've learned their lesson. He obviously would rather have lap dances than play football. Unless he shows some common sense and maturity, teams would be a fool to sign him.
Posted Thursday December 06, 2007, About: Jaguars DT: I'm not a cheater
I just don't buy it!! He knows that the league is cracking down...and there's lots of over the counter supplements that have banned substances in them. So, why on earth would he mindlessly take something without checking 1st to see what the ingredients are?? The stupidity defense just doesn't cut it. How about this, big boy...check with the NFL BEFORE taking something!! OR, put some of your millions of dollars to good use and hire someone that can assist you in determining if there are any banned substances.
Posted Thursday December 06, 2007, About: Fins coach relinquishes play calling
This switch didn't seem to work out so well... as the 40-13 score vs the 2nd worst team in the league (Jets) would attest. The bigger question is this: who was calling plays for the 'fins "defense?" The Dolphins are a complete mess...So, does anyone think they'll draft a QB this year?? Or will they take another undersized WR to line up with Ginn, Jr???????????
Posted Thursday December 06, 2007, About: Texan calls arrest 'misunderstanding'
Unless Chester doesn't speak english as a first language, I just don't see how this is a "misunderstanding." Cop car pulls you over--- cop tells you to wait--- you are supposed to wait. Even for a football player, that shouldn't be too difficult to grasp. So, my question is this: did Chester decide that because he's a pro athlete, laws don't apply to him? Or did he have something in his Beamer that he didn't want to be caught with, so he left the scene in order to ditch "it"?? Either of these 2 scenario's are more believable than a "misunderstanding." Chester better get his SH#@ together, because Texans owner Bob McNair isn't like the Bengals or Titans owners that put up with this kind of crap from their players.
Posted Wednesday December 05, 2007, About: Lions pair wants out of Detroit
Screw Dallas...how about Williams and Andre Johnson lining up together in Houston??? Sounds great to me!!
Posted Wednesday November 28, 2007, About: Benson's Bears future uncertain
I think he's done... coming back from this sort of injury requires MONTHS of hard work, sweat and tears. Benson wasn't willing to give 100% when he was healthy...I seriously doubt this slacker will put in the time and energy to come back. He was already a bust when he was healthy (which, when you look at his career- he's been injury prone since his college days)...now he's a bust with a busted up leg. Poetic Justice, I say.
Posted Wednesday November 28, 2007, About: Investigators revisit Taylor feud
From what has been reported, it sounds like the motive for the break in was to kill him. In the break in that occurred previously, it was reported that the person left a knife on his bed. Sounds like the 1st break in was a threat... It appears that he had made a real effort to turn his life around, and it would really be a shame if this happened due to past mistakes. My thoughts and prayers go out to his friends, family, and the redskins organization.
Posted Tuesday November 27, 2007, About: Reid leaves door open for Feeley
The best way to avoid a QB controversy is for McNabb (or should I call him McBrittle?) to stay on the bench to allow his ankle to heal (surprise surprise- another McNabb injury). Last year it was Garcia that stepped in when McNabb couldn't finish the season healthy. This year it's AJ Feeley....HMMM. Me thinks there's a pattern here. Reid should keep AJ as the starter because he gives the Eagles the best chance to win. But Reid should be careful...lest McNabb pulls out the race card again.
Posted Monday November 26, 2007, About: Tight security on Giants ramps
Classy...between the "show me your ****" episode and the huge number of fair weather Jets' fans who are selling their tickets to opposing teams' fans...the jets look ready to overtake the eagles as worst fans in the NFL
Posted Monday November 26, 2007, About: QB's uncertain future in Carolina
Since the Texans ruined Carr, we'll never know what type of player he might have been... Carr and Harrington came out of the same draft class and were both top 5 picks. So, let the debate begin...which QB is the bigger bust and will they be mentioned in the same breath as Ryan Leaf???
Posted Thursday November 15, 2007, About: Dolphins mixed on Ricky's return
I've seen lots of comments to the effect of: "compared to other players' legal issues, Ricky's pot smoking isn't really a big deal." I disagree...he's tested positive 4, or was it 5 times? Last time I checked, it was illegal to smoke pot. What message is the NFL sending to impressionable kids? That it's okay to repeatedly break the law as long as you are a gifted athlete. If/when Ricky tests positive again, I think he should receive a lifetime ban.
Posted Thursday November 15, 2007, About: Demotion surprises Harrington
Leftwich a long term solution at QB??? Are you serious??? Harrington isn't any better option, though. Harrington and David Carr came out of the same draft class and both appear to be major busts.
Posted Thursday October 11, 2007, About: Vick's high school removes jersey
I think the school acted appropriately... they did wait until AFTER Vick plead guilty. High school kids (all kids, actually) are impressionable and right or wrong...see professional athletes as role models. I think it would have sent the wrong message if they had kept it up....that it's okay to break the law as long as you are a gifted athlete.
Posted Thursday October 11, 2007, About: Green, Dolphins predict return
Any doctor that clears Trent Green to play again should have HIS head examined!!! Trent should retire...he doesn't need the money; he has a wife and children; he's playing on a team that's going nowhere. As someone who worked in the medical profession for 10 years, I know a little something about head injuries....1) With each concussion sustained, he is much more likely to suffer from additional concussions 2) Contrary to public opinion, concussions ARE a big deal...people can and do DIE from head injuries 3) even if death doesn't occur, concussions can and do cause PERMANENT brain damage 4) With each concussion, the chances of having LIFELONG problems increases. Anyone seen Muhamed Ali lately? That is what can happen to Trent, or any athlete that suffers 1 too many concussions.
