The best thing for the NHL would be to relocate a few sunbelt teams to Canadian cities. Unfortunately Czar Bettman is sitting on the throne and he obviously has a dislike for Canada, Knowing his philosiphy it would be more likey to see Canadian franchises relocate to Puerto Rico and the Bahamas.

Winslow has been nothing but an underachieving punk since his days at Miami, To bad he never lived up to his "I'm a soldier" comment, I'm sure his massive ego would be humbled if he actually had the testicular fortitude to be in Iraq or Afghanistan with real soldiers. But of course were dealing with a bag of hot air when it comes to Winslow, I'll definately miss seeing him get his ass kicked twice a year against the Steelers.

One problem I have is that Singletary can become Head Coach (assuming the Interim tag is removed) without anyone else being interviewed for the job because he is a minority, But lets go back to earlier in the season when the Rams allowed Haslett to take over on a interim basis, and they were not allowed to name him full time head coach (NFL Rooney Rule) without a minority being interviewed for the full time position, The Rooney Rule has outlived its purpose, It's too bad the league has allowed it to come down to race issues rather than allowing the team to interview whom they choose.

I actually met Gary back in the late 80's, and he was a gamer and the best catcher along with Fisk in the game once Johnny Bench was past his prime, But he definately used poor judgement on his statement towards the Mets managers job, I'm a firm believer in the "un- written rules, or ettiquette of baseball, and discussing a managers position while it is occupied is against those "rules".
