When you're at the top, everyone wants to take a shot at you. True in politics, entertainment, and especially sports. Any dominating team where's a bulls-eye on it's back since that's all the rest of their league (and fans) can see. It's not that the SEC has one "dominating" team in college football, it's that at least one team over the last five year stretch has managed to navigate through the conference either undefeated or with one loss, and be in a position at the top of the BCS standings (to include human and computer rankings) to play for the championship. What other conference has managed that in football. The ACC can probably boast a similar trend in Basketball and Final Four visits.
