The tirade looked a bit like Chuck Bednarik taunting Frank Gifford. Nonetheless, there is no place for this sort of thing in the NFL. The fact is that Johnson didn't get hurt badly and that for all anybody knew, the motionless Green had broken his neck. As it stands, this concussion is career threatening for him.

If Briggs is the father he has moral and legal obligations to the child. I am no fan of attorneys but he is there to protect the rights of the child. The fact that the mother may have earning potential has almost nothing to do with anything. As for shrewd, savage females, I am sure Briggs was right where he wanted to be at the time the child was conceived.

Whisenhunt is blowing it big time. History tells us that QB controversies will kill a team (eg Staubach/Morton). He needs to pick one or the other because this back and forth stuff between Leinart and Warner will only divert the team's attention and deprive them of a leader.
