Obviously, you're someone who doesn't understand that sports like baseball, football, basketball and hockey (in northeastern states) take players long before soccer ever does in this country. Yes, with a country this size, it'd be nice to see Kobe Bryant, Allen Iverson, Terrell Owens, and Cole Hamels play soccer, but that doesn't happen.

As for DMB moving to 04 - I am all for it.
Posted Wednesday December 10, 2008, About: New European suitors for Onyewu
I agree, but if he goes to Gladbach, then he'll play with Bradley, so that might help in the long run. Also, if he's good, he could help that D.

Amen.
Posted Saturday November 15, 2008, About: England won't call up Beckham
But I thought many of England's older players weren't playing in this game at all. If that's true, then this just follows that.
Posted Tuesday November 11, 2008, About: 2010 Olympics may be NHL's last
They have. It's just not feasible, with many arenas designed for the smaller rink. In many arenas, there are essential structural elements where the bigger ice would be.
Posted Monday October 27, 2008, About: Namath, Maynard criticize Jets
There's no doubt the Jets should be doing better. Didn't the Patriots say that even with Favre, it's the same Jets offense they've seen since Mangini took over? That's not football experience, that's common sense - you have a different QB, you should be playing offense differently.

I agree with kopper.

A rich family. You should look up Astor's Beechwood Mansion in Rhode Island.

I would've walked him, too, with Marlon Byrd coming up.

They need to add pitchers. If they don't want to add more all stars they can have some of the kids who were selected but did not play in the futures game available once the rest of the pitchers are done.

Or, better yet, maybe managers should let pitchers be in the game for more than one inning. Three pitchers at three innings each = nine innings. Shocking.
Posted Wednesday July 30, 2008, About: Rush Limbaugh an NFL owner?
His radio contract alone pays him 30 million dollars. Add in advertising and merchandise sales off the radio show. . . shouldn't be surprised if he could do it. Easily.
Posted Thursday July 10, 2008, About: Phillies, Cards interested in Bedard
Well, since he's on the DL now, this is moot.
Posted Monday May 05, 2008, About: Liverpool fans want U.S. owners out
Tom Hicks can't run the Texas Rangers towards a winning season, how did anyone think he'd be able to run Liverpool?
Posted Friday April 25, 2008, About: Beasley back in Rangers training
More than Beasley losing a step in quickness - he had looked indecisive in 2006 and I am hoping his confidence in his decisions increases.

Paul Newman? I always thought he looked like stand-up comedian Dom Irrera.
Posted Monday April 14, 2008, About: Clevelanders behind LeBron-NY sites
I know the NBA salary cap is quite complex, but the Cavs can still pay him more money than any other team, right?

As for endorsement money, I think that if he wins two titles between now and then, his endorsement money will keep flowing.

In 2 years, will the Knicks be any good or will they still stink? That's the question that can't be answered.
Posted Tuesday April 08, 2008, About: Murray claims Pens threw finale
If the Pens won, they would've played the Flyers in a serious, hard-hitting series. The winner would come out hurt and limping. The Pens didn't want that.
Posted Monday April 07, 2008, About: Lack of interest leaves Lito in limbo
I'd keep him and rotate three CBs.
