Also, if you take a look at stories about Americans playing in Europe and having issues collecting paychecks and difficulties in travel (because they don't fly charters and stay in Four Seasons in every city), it's quite a shock for American players who go to Europe.

Now, is that an issue in France? Probably not, but it's certainly an issue in Turkey and Italy, where the basketball is better than in France.
