Posted Tuesday November 10, 2009, About: Top-ranked recruit to commit
No one here knows anything. He loved UNC. He loves Irving and DUke's academics. He visited "Late Night" at Kansas two years in a row and would be guaranteed a homecoming game in Ames when KU plays ISU. He liked his trip to UCLA. It's not like he's tipped his hand and there are compelling arguments as to why he will go to any of them (except ISU, that seems like a longshot). My gut does say Duke, but nothing would surprise me at all.
Posted Thursday October 22, 2009, About: LeBron mentors OSU's Pryor
"OSU's Pryor getting advice from LBJ"

Ah, man. I was hoping that Lyndon B. Johnson was talking to Terrell through a Ouiji board or something. Nothing would surprise me with this guy.
Posted Tuesday October 20, 2009, About: Why Drew Brees isn't a Dolphin
Hah. When I saw "weirded out", I thought it was going to be something like Saban and his staff walked around the office only wearing wingtips, black socks and Dolphins polos.
Posted Tuesday October 20, 2009, About: Titans owner won't promise Fisher's return
I guarantee Jerry Jones, Dan Snyder and Bob McNair have Fisher on speed dial if Adams is foolish enough to fire one of the best coaches in the NFL. Look at the guy's all-time record. Adams is just mad that Fisher won't put in his man Vince Young. Well, Vince Young sucks, so there you go.
Posted Tuesday September 29, 2009, About: Bills fan dumps popcorn on T.O.
I agree. That guy was baiting him. It's hilarious that people try to get a reaction out of him then crucify him once they get what they want. I saw Steve Smith go off on the sideline last night and it was all about how "firey and competitive" he is. If that were TO, they would have went nuts. Granted, TO has made his bed, but the media can be pretty hypocritical.
Posted Thursday September 24, 2009, About: Coyotes destined for Kansas City?
It would work in Kansas City. The Scouts didn't work because hockey wasn't popular further south than Chicago back then. No one remembers that the Scouts actually moved to Denver after Kansas City to become "the Rockies" and failed there too before relocating to NJ. Would anyone doubt the Avalanche's fan support now by saying they didn't support the old NHL Colorado Rockies? The Sprint Center is 1000x better than the place the COyotes are playing in now and The Coyotes would be the anchor tenant. Plus the name still works regionally. It's almost too perfect.
Posted Tuesday September 22, 2009, About: Kiffin takes another shot at Meyer
I'm not remotley a Florida fan, but I hope Meyer runs the score up on this clown till the day they fire Kiffin. What a jerk.
Posted Thursday September 17, 2009, About: UNC edging Duke for country's best recruit?
He's going to Kansas. Closer to mom and a guaranteed road trip home to play in front of his friends and family. Plus, Self has been on this kid for years.
Posted Thursday September 10, 2009, About: Knicks offering LeBron own cable channel?
In addition, LA is media paradise/hell, he would get an even more heated rivalry going with Kobe and he would ressurect yet another franchise which would add to his legend.
Posted Thursday September 10, 2009, About: Knicks offering LeBron own cable channel?
I'm telling you right now. LeBron will not go to NY. They are not set up to be a team that can compete. They have no other parts. David Lee was one of their best guys and you saw the effort the went to to keep him ... He'll show up with no point guard, an over-rated draft pick from Europe, Renaldo Balkman, Jordan Hill, Eddie Curry ... ugh. What a horrible team. If he were to leave Cleveland, he'll go one of three places: Chicago, LA (Clippers) or Miami. Theses are the teams that have a supporting cast that would allow him to win a championship. Laugh about the Clips if you want, but insert him with Griffin, Gordon, Camby and Baron Davis ... that team is interesting.
Posted Thursday September 10, 2009, About: Knicks offering LeBron own cable channel?
How awesome would an all-LeBron channel be on the unintentional comedy scale? "Cooking with LeBron", "LeBron Tonight", "Behind the LeBron", "LeBron Center", "How I met Your LeBron", "According to LeBron", "Pardon the LeBron", "My Super Sweet LeBron", "Baseball LeBron", "True LeBron", etc. The possibilities of horrible LeBron-centered shows is limitless.
Posted Tuesday September 08, 2009, About: Why Notre Dame's Clausen isn't elite - yet
Part of the "elite" hype is what university you play for. For Clausen to have dropped so far, being the quarterback at Notre Dame, is unfathomable. He just isn't that good, consistently. A guy like Todd Reesing plays circles around Clausen but since he plays at lil ole KU, he gets barely a mention.
Posted Monday August 31, 2009, About: Cassel may miss Chiefs opener
Haha. I'm a Chiefs fan and I would prefer Matt sit out against the Ravens. If he plays that game, I get the feeling they should bring a bodybag.
Posted Wednesday August 26, 2009, About: Agent blaming Crabtree?
It's a shame because as a BIg XII fan, I loved Crabtree. He sure has become a real ass though. I mean, seriously? You want to be paid higher than guys picked in front of you? The NFL is not Major League Baseball. They don't mess with the way contracts work in round one. They are ridiculous, yes, but a guy like Crabtree wanting more than Heyward-Bey got, just isn't happening anytime soon. You could have been a real fan favorite Michael, now I think everyone is sick of you and you haven't even laced them up. Isn't he coming off of leg surgery and an ESPN the Magazine piece where he revealed his rehab involved eating pizza all of the time? Loser.
Posted Tuesday August 25, 2009, About: Why Beasley entered rehab
I understand everyone's take that life for a young, rich superstar "isn't that bad", but a anyone who has suffered from depression can tell you, it doesn't matter what you living conditions are like, you feel an incredible amount of anxiety and fear all of the time. Face it, even in college people said he was a bit immature. His favorite show is Spongebob. I believe he has major problems. This is an example of a guy that wasn;t ready to make the jump, mentally. Leon Smith was the same way. Physically, a person may be superior to most people but if they aren;t mentally stable, it doesn't matter. This is coming from a KU fan who hated Beasley at KSU, by the way.
Posted Tuesday August 04, 2009, About: Garber hopes to bring Henry to MLS
I will literally take a few dominant American-born players to make the sport big in the US. I could only see it happening if the men's USA team won the Olympics or World Cup. That seems highly unlikely while our best athletes play football, basketball and baseball.
Posted Tuesday July 21, 2009, About: Boozer closer to Heat trade?
Actually, the Heat are in the best cap shape for 2010, so they could aquire Boozer and sign Lamar Odom. The question then is who plays where because Beasley should be starting too.
Posted Thursday July 16, 2009, About: Will shorter contract backfire on LeBron?
No. LeBron and Wade will get maxed out contracts. They might not have as many suitors, but they will get their money. Guys like Boozer and Bosh are hurt by this development though.
Posted Tuesday July 14, 2009, About: Jackson may ask Vikings for trade
Jackson should stay in Minnesota. He has the only coach in the NFL that thinks he is an NFL-caliber QB and eventually Farve will die of old age.
Posted Monday June 08, 2009, About: LJ playing nice in KC
I actually think LJ is going to be one of the surprise players of 2009. Having Matt Cassel, a new scheme (not predicated on the spread, like last year) and an improved line should help him out. In addition Jamaal Charles is a year older and along with Kolby Smith, should be able to help keep LJ fresh. When he isn't running in to 8-man fronts, he has proven to still be a good back.
Posted Friday May 29, 2009, About: Blazers GM looking to deal
Shinn is a miser and if you look at his history, he lets superstar players leave all of the time. Plus, you know he wants out of New orleans. He wanted to move the team to OKC after they split time there. The guy should have the team taken away and given to an owner that actually wants to win.
