Also .... I don't remember ever seeing a "Soa Ndso" in a race car . Is he Oriental ? Because his name suggests he is. What do you have against Orientals? ...... I'm just sayin .... When I have nothing to do, I enjoy a good Bahama Mamma while I engage in my hobby (playing guitar) as I watch NASCAR on Sunday afternoon. That will soon give way to Baseball. I can do all 3 at once !! I can Multitask !!
But with the ending of winter, I'll soon be playing softball on a city league instead of watching the tube. But I'll still root for Jr instead of Soa Ndso
. I was ASTOUNDED that he was still here at the beginning of spring training.
His last 10 games of last year against
TAM - 7.16
OAK - 6.80
NYY - 6.45
CLE - 6.55
TEX - 6.67
MIN - 7.15
MIN - 7.38
BAL - 7.12
BOS - 6.68
OAK - 6.52
How the hell do you win a game with a starter like THAT ?
I can't however pin the lost chance of a post season on just him. ALL the M's starting pitchers let the team down in the last month. They were working from the bull-pen from Sept. on. Horacio was just another loser by then.
At the end of the year -
Miami Dolphins $6.3 million
Tennessee Titans $6.2 million
Pittsburgh Steelers $6.1 million
Tampa Bay Buccaneers $5.1 million
Oakland Raiders $653,000
Compare that to the 5 at the other end of the spectrum .................
Green Bay Packers $35 million
Minnesota Vikings $30.9 million
Arizona Cardinals $28.9 million
Cleveland Browns $27.1 million
Philadelphia Eagles $26.1 million
I would say Parcells has a LOT of work to do to get that teams spendig under control. That means going after not just Cryboys, but anyone else who will fit his criteria. He's just going after Cryboys because ... it's what he does. He raids teams whos players he knows and has worked with before.
T.O will be in a Dolphins uniform within 2 years ...... HAHAHAHAH...................
In my water ?
I need a prescription ?
What do I take them with ?
Who do I have to notify when I run out ?
How much is this going to cost me ?
Saaaaay .... I see what you did there ....... *wink*

It all started when he retired from playing and bought into the Toronto Raptors back in 94 when they were an expansion team ... He was bought out by the other owners in 98 because he was giving away tickets and team merchandise to draft interests and friends. Plus he was even harrassing the help clear back then. He almost gave away the franchise before they bought him out. He's been kinda like OJ Lite ever since.
{{GRRRRRR...}}
He said "Yes" he lost $100k on ONE poker game
How friggin stupid is that?
Hit him with a Pole -- HAHAHAHA ......
Welcome to the club boys !!!
signed Seattle Seahawks
If I were him, arbitration would be in his favor if it came to that. I would not bend to far for a team that only gave up a 4th rnd pk for me. I would hammer them hard since my career was winding down. Let the arbitrator decide on my contract instead of a penny pinching owner
Mariners fans WELCOMES you to our house ... where we can cover up the field, if it starts to snow, and continue to drink beer instead of having to reschedue those games. Or having to sit in the cold-as.s wind for 3 hours Or miserable misting rain (not heavy enough to call it a game yet) Oh yeah .... we nixed the stonehenge looking thing too.
But I gotta agree with you on that moose deal ..... What the hell a moose has to do with Maritime or the ocean or sailors or an ancient mariner compass I have NO idea
Also, the trains get on MY nerves too. They thought it would be sort of "summery" to hear train whistles as a backdrop for summer night games.
NOT one of their smarter moves I agree. But it in no way ruins the ballpark
I agree with you about not believing anything the M's are doing until it actually happens
However .... I doubt this lineup has what it takes to win 100 games.
Jones would not have made that much difference anyway, if the pitchers can't last the entire year. Their starting rotation has absolutely *ZILCH* as far as depth is concerned
