the UFC wanted him to take a pay cut once they bought PRIDE (his contract transferred over). He said no and rightfully so. So the UFC sat him for the remaining time of his contract which was about 8 months. Hansen has the right to be pissed off and bitter with the UFC.

either way this whole thing is a giant mess...... figured he wasnt going to retire after last season and he did pretty soon after the season. now he has the "itch".......well no kidding. if he comes back they should trade rodgers so everyone finds peace.....and favre better stay for 2 years not just 09.

laporta would never play for the crew as it is with braun and hart locking down the corner outfield positions, hes a good power bat that has legit potential for major league success.
gamel or green are both offensively good 3rd basemen....questionable defense......im hoping the brewers turn jj hardy into a 3rd baseman for the future and promote escobar to play short stop next year

i cant see the brewers giving more than 2 top quality prospects for a rental, no matter how good he is. altho if they do trade for CC and lose him in free agency, they get 2 compensation picks which their great scouting system personnel would love

yi is doing well, hes got that nice jumper just in front of the 3point lane that is nearly automatic, and hes got decent inside game and good defense

only problem is the bucks dont give him the ball enough, they do alot of BAD clear outs and quick jumpers for their guards
