I think what people are not understanding is that the Blazers didn't decide he was unfit to play. A Doctor appointed by the NBA and Players association said he could not play. The guy has missed 2 seasons and the Blazers paid the guy to sit at home and go to clubs.
If Miles is healthy enough to play, then why hasn't Boston or Memphis kept him on board? Apparently he isn't healthy, so any team that would pick him up and play him for 2 games would be doing so clearly to attack the Blazers.
That being said and I was not a huge Blazers fan, I would want my team, especially if its a Western Conference Northwest Division team, to pick up Miles and put him in 2 games....both against the Blazers just to piss them off.
BUT, Im a Blazer so I hope this idea doesn't get out.
Your clame of fame is beating Western Kentucky (2-6) and throttling non-FBS Murray State (3-5).
And I wasn't trying to talk crap on IU. I was just trying to figure out why I should "stick to what I know and that is losing". I just didn't know where you were coming from becuase Indiana hasn't been doing much winning lately except in basketball.
how about the losing... you must only be talking about basketball becuase you haven't done crap in football or baseball. In the past 15 years, you have only made it to 2 bowl games and you lost both. We have been to 7 winning 5. Baseball we went to 3 straight College World Series and we were back to back National Champions in 2006 & 2007.
Hoosiers has only won 2 national championships since 2000 and those were both in soccer. What...they have a championship for Soccer? Well, I guess that is equal to University of Portland Pilots who have won 2 girls soccer championship.
So who is accustomed to losing again? just refresh my memory please.
P.S. If Hoosier is not for Indiana and really intended to find out who your daddy is, I apologize.
Outlaw. He is not going to get his shots that he was getting last year with the 2nd team, but he will still make a difference with his long frame and athleticism. Plus you don't need Outlaw on the 2nd team with Rudy and Frye. With Batum and Przybilla in the 2nd unitm, I don't think there is a 2nd unit in the NBA that will score with ease.
Now about the article... Isn't it odd that the Indianapolis Star would get information about Indiana University from a Portland newspaper 2200 miles away?
#2 Of course Oregonwill start there back-up QB. The starter went down before the season started. Every since then its been a back-up and especially when they lose, its "because we played the back-up".
#3 Daren is not the starter because nobody starts the game off in Prevent Defense so you will have him out there doing nothing for you. His passes looked like crap in the BSU game and if it wasn't for great hands on the receivers, he would not have gotten 1/3 of them completions.
GO BEAVS!!!
BELLOTI is a joke...
Scary with Gasol, Odom and Bynum? Please, they will not do a thing against Oden, Aldridge and Outlaw. The only thing that makes those 3 half way decent is that they have one of the greatest players to play the game wearing #24 with them. You take Kobe out of the mix and the Clippers are the best the team in LA.
He is huge (bigger then Odom)??? Um, I hope he is bigger then Odom since Odom is a SF/PF and Bynum is a C. Thats like saying that Luke Walton is huge (bigger then Farner)
GO BLAZERS....
If Belloti and Mike Riley would split a season coaching, they would have a national powerhouse every year. Belloti always starts off on fire while Riley starts out slow and then Riley picks up around mid October when Belloti tanks. Just think if they could be co-coaches for a team.

THIS IS SO TRUE. A white ref would have already been suspended for the next game and fined as well. It would be making regular news and once the writers strike ends, would be talked about on Late Show and Tonight show.
