Even Mike Silver is backpeddling on the "accuracy" of his report. On todays Bickley and MJ show (xtras He has NOTHING to back it up with. He didn't record the conversion and he'd not adimant that his facts are straight.

There looks to be reason as to WHY Matt Silver "left" Sports Illustrated. Perhaps it's because of his tabloid journalism. Matt Leinart categorically denies that he even made such a statement.

Leinart took issue with a Yahoo sports article that quoted him as saying Sunday night, among other things, that ???this switching back and forth is almost worse than getting benched.???

???I want to be the starter, I want to play every single play,??? Leinart said. ???But (the Yahoo quote) is something that never came out of my mouth. It is a little frustrating, but you move on.???
