I am an Earthquakes fan and I am looking forward to this signing. But to put it among the rumors of the rest of the world...???

I have seen his videos on youtube, and although he is "a good player...in MALYASIA", all of his goals are world class. Understandably, malaysian soccer is CRAP, but a guy who can stand out greatly is worth looking at.

worst leagues in the world? come on. that's so ignorant. What about the K-League? J-League? the leagues in the middle east. MLS teams have played English sides and have done very well, so there is no room to say that the MLS is the worst league in the world (and no disrespect to those other leagues, but the MLS is above them)

this is OLD. i saw that he was doing a trial on portuguese television like 1.5 weeks ago. Then i read on TFC boards that it was ended like 3 days later. REALLY old news

and so you all know. for being 36, he is still playing very well in portugal. Goal scorer? not as of late, but he still plays with intensity and heart.....but i think its a bad signing IF it were to happen

Hova. good point. but i just dont think he will risk it. My dad saw Eusebio (greatest Portuguese player) a while ago, and the man could barely walk. He said it was a very sad sight to see such a great player be reduced to a ma who could barely walk. I think if Ronaldo is smart, he will make sure his legs stay as healthy as possible and not take any risks.

Im saying this of course with assumption that he cant make a relatively quick and clean recovery. If the tendon tear is a clean, then he could play again. But i think its going to be up to him if that happens or not

but come on. Oswaldo here would be GREAT for the league. its not like he is a horrible goalie. He will bring quality to the box (not as good as US Goalies, but quality nonetheless). and this would finally bring more mexicans into watching and paying attention to the MLS.

Hova...u doubt it? come ooooon bro. He has had knee injuries in the past. and not that he's old, but getting up in age + past injuries + ANOTHER serious knee injury. there is no way he will play again

Bayern speaks the truth. I dont really follow the Bundesliga much, but i do check out some games on GolTV, and have seen Ze Roberto play. He is still in great match shape and is still poised in the back. Whatever team gets him next year will recieve a seasoned veteran that still has plenty of gas left in the tank

San Jose, New Endlgand, Red Bulls, or Miami (IF they get a team) would be the choices solely on their Portuguese population. I know i would go to games with him playing with my Brasil jersey =)

O Line is a definate must need concern. I dont think we need Faneca. he has been GREAT for us, but i noticed SOME slipping in his play this year, and that will only get worse with age. We need to scope the FA market for a O Line and if they could just stay healthy next season? thanks

i prefer this. starting a fresh team with only rookies or unexperienced players will not help us out. Although, #1 pick for Garcia straight up? ehh. i think we should have gotten just a little more. but Garcia is still a very good defender, and can get on the attack pretty well
