Iverson is, plainly and simply, too stupid to view himself as anything other than a superstar who can single handedly carry a team - any team - to 60+ wins and a berth in the NBA finals.

It's hard to predict - especially with quarterbacks - who's going to become a star or solid starter in the NFL.

If you KNOW who going to make it in the NFL and who's not you should be a personnel director for one of the NFL teams, but you're not - are you?

It never ceases to amaze me how often people will try to defend/justify/minimize the vile, immoral, dishonest behavior of individuals they idolize and worship.

Uh, Evander Holyfield WAS one of the greatest heavyweights of the past 20 years. Does that mean he should stupidly continue fighting too, just because "he's a warrior".

Continually stepping into the ring and getting your face smashed in doesn't mean you're "still a warrior". It could mean you've already suffered so much brain damage you can't think clearly enough to realize it's time to "hang 'em up".

I guess people like you won't be happy until Liddell ends up like Ali, Jerry Quarry or Sugar Ray Seales.

Delonte is getting the best available help already.

Unfortunately, the meds he's been prescribed and regular counseling are the only know treatment regimen for his 'issues'. The ball is in his court now. He has to take his meds and attend his counseling/therapy sessions.

If he doesn't do his part he's destined to 'go off' again, and the next time he may do something far more serious than he did the last time.
