Whoops, never mind. Get better soon Gasol and come back stronger for the playoffs. I think the next six weeks will show the Lakers how valuable of a player you really are.

"Only way LA improves is if Kobe shoots about 15 times a night and dishes around 7-8 times...or gets traded,"

to which I say I agree. KB is not completely stupid, and recent success confirms that sharing the ball and facilitating others will make him a 6-time champion, and that is his motivation. He doesn't give a damn about a scoring title this year, he wants that 6th ring. LA needs Pierce's offensive production since Howard, probably because of his recovery, has not produced as as much as expected. Also, Pierce's playmaking shouldn't be overlooked, and Kobe would love getting some easy baskets. I think KB and Pierce would be a great duo, but the momentum of the two teams being rivals for so long probably means this trade won't happen. That's a shame for those of us who live outside of LA and BOS and who really enjoy the game.

Doodle, bet you won't call G-money Wallace a 'B-lister' to his face LoL! Seriously, the Nets have good continuity now, and I don't think they would blow it up for a guy they would have to pull out at crunch time b/c he can't make FTs. Brook Lopez is balling, and having a low post scorer on the floor at crunch time is the one thing that MIA doesn't have. Howard's FT shooting really holds him back, and how would the Nets make up his 15-20 points every night. Too many question marks to move that many players when things are going good for them.

Hey 11 rings, are you saying you wouldn't watch Kobe and Pierce take on Pau and KG? One game in LA and one game in BOS... Staples and TD Garden would be insane.

If LA can talk the Nets into giving up Lopez, Brooks AND Wallace for Howard, God bless them. Maybe Lopez and Brooks, but not Wallace as well; leaves a big hole at the 3 for Nets (still have love for you Stack!)

To 11 rings: a crazy trade to switch marquee players between two of the fiercest rivals = everyone watching = $$$ for the NBA (and that's the bottom line).

Apologies for the typos Yoda, or course you're right. But could you imagine the buzz around this trade? That alone would go a long way to revive both organizations. Also, it would be great to see a Paul/KG -v- Kobe/ Pierce match up in February!!
