At 6' 7" he must have one hell of a loop in that swing. 6' 3" is about the max height for anyone aspiring to be halfway decent on the tour.
Posted Tuesday April 19, 2011, About: Peavy return derailed ... again
I think he's probably referencing guys like Clayton Richard and Gio Gonzalez, though I wouldn't call them castoffs. Personally I think it might be time to turn Peavy into a reliever just like the Cubs did with Wood. I really don't see his body allowing him to go anywhere near starters innings again.

It makes sense if you have more than one ball.

I agree with your disagreement

What blame? I said he is having a good season but he is down statistically for him. If you really believe he is a good leader then you may have overdosed on the Lebron Kool-Aid

KG is an all world defender. Wade and James aren't in that class defensively. It's also easier to defend the perimeter when no one wants to bring it inside.

Exactly. You would have to be really naive to think that Riley doesn't already have his hand in the coaching decisions.

Three players don't make a team better. You have the overpaid soft big man in Bosh. The brittle undersized slasher in Wade and the only guy who is playing decent but not up to his standards is James. Problem is that James is not a leader nor does he want that title bestowed upon him.

Can Miami buy a few decent role players? Maybe some interior defense too?
Posted Tuesday November 23, 2010, About: James: No fun in Miami
Most teams need big men and we all know potential always trumps reality. More than one team was willing to overpay him this summer.

Bosh has to go. I don't know how such an average player ascended to elite status in the first place.

I think he's already being peeled off the front bumper

People from other countries that only see New York in movies go there for vacations.

I think Miami's biggest problem was counting on the softest big man in the league to be anything more than a turnstile on defense. They should have spent their Bosh money on filling out the bench. With two good driving players in Wade and James, a second tier center/forward could average 12-15 points and 10-15 boards.

I love the old Team Canada sweater.

What are you talking about? The hand is open because it was on the ball just prior to being thrown. I can't recall ever seeing the non-throwing hand being in a clenched fist.

Keep fighting the good fight. I'm not old enough to be considered old fashioned but I grew up calling them sweaters and I'll call them sweaters until the end.

How can a hockey fan call it a jersey? They may not be sweaters anymore, but they should still be called one.

Can Philly fans really justify liking/rooting for someone from Chicago?
