Runners on FIrst and Second last night against Houston in StL, Rasmus on second. #8 hitter slaps a hard hit ground ball towards left, and it hits Rasmus running to third.

I haven't seen a runner hit by a batted ball in 5 years.

LaRussa is sandbagging, Rasmus is gone.

Meanwhile, Walt Jockety ( ex- St Louis GM ) is over in Cincy, rubbing his hands to gether waiting for the Redbirds to mess up. He's rebuilt the Reds franchise in the last 3 years into a serious contender and would take a shot at Albert the first chance he gets.
