Pretty much every sneaky suspicion about the AD and the Bow Tie, are very and then some. The Senator didnt fall on the sword, more like he was tripped, pushed, and driven into the sword.
From what I can tell this has nothing to do with the current team, and it wont be a scandal. It more of an inside look at how the demise of Tress really happened.
Very sad situation, with some background of the whys and explanations make it even more sad.
Ya know, I didnt get to talk much about the players, but my suspicion is that Hall will start the year just fine, and will be a big part of the offense. I do also think the youngins will eat away at his touches as the year goes on but I could be wrong.
I did have a nice long interesting convo with a couple former coaches this weekend. Some crazy shiiii happned around the Tress downfall with some prominent names being thrown around. Im trying to decide how to tell it or if its even appropriate to tell. Sometimes things need to be kept in house, so I'll probably ask, if its ok to tell.
I will say this though, one coach told me, and I quote, "The Ohio State University stand for more than this, but the people in charge dont."
Just wanted to let everyone know, I had the chance to get back into The HAyes complex yesterday, loks the same but completely different. There is also and edge to it that I can't describe, I wouldnt say cocky, but driven with a no apologies mid set.
Of course its beautiful, and I love walking around any chance I get.
I think Palmer has potential, Pollack could be better, but still better than those two, at least to me his experience is relevant to todays game.
Desmond believe it or not to me isnt that bad, I do like him more than Corso.
I have always like Herbie until he started going down this holier than thou road he has been on lately. I still think hes a cool guy and would gladly share a beer with him anytime.
Sadly there is a lot of young talent out there that will never get a shot because of the politics of it all. J Lehman on the BTN isnt bad, but he'll get trapped in the BTN crew and not get out.
I think in all reality they HAVE to go undefeated to get to the Ship. Anything less and ESPn wont let them in...oops I mean the voters wont look to highly upon an imperfect record.
I think that was what the entire spring game as about, sure there were renovations being done, but coulda been moved anywhere in cbus, this was just an excuse to get in Northern Kentucky ;)
All I heard all day was about the Cincy boys on the roster, and how Jalin Marshall is going to set the conference on fire. Stuff like that
Back from the spring game. Went as expected. Didnt see much from the offense as far as seeing the whole playbook. Defense looked solid Spence and Washington are LEGIT! Cardale Jones looked the part, big athletic kid.
Cincy as a whole was a great time, I was never a huge fan of it, but this time was fun. Tailgating was great, beers in the stadium???Sure I'll take a few.
People were very nice and much more tOSY support from down south than I remember.
Almost shed a tear, that is what college football is all about. When all the players were running with him and went nuts in the end zone gave me chills.

Maybe it that they are closer to my age, but I like those two. Palmer is bit of a **** bag, but everyone on tv is...

If they wanted quality in that show it wouldnt be those two, as much as I love Holtz. It would be Desmond and David Pollack.
But I really think they are grooming Desmond to take over for Lee and Jesse take over for Herbie, when he goes big time, which will be very soon.
