Tick-tock tick-tock tick-tock tick-tock . . . on pins and needles, refreshing screen all day and night, waiting, waiting, in anticipation of the genius that is Lord asif, bestowing his wisdom upon his serfs.
If you are referring to the indigenous peoples of America, the term should be "Native American," not "American Indian." "Indian" is just a misnomer placed upon these people by Columbus when he landed in the Antilles and assumed he had reached the Indian Ocean. Wrong, Chris (and asif), but hey you'll call them "Indians" anyway. But who knows, I understand some elder Native Americans prefer "American Indian" due to historical usage.
But who saw the Danny Green and Gary Neal bus coming? 13 3-pointers between them? You kidding me? As far as age, I don't see any Spurs guys wearing down late in games. Duncan is a baller, one of the best ever, and age is just a number when you factor in heart. The Spurs are denying LeBron the lane and the basket, and he's had issues hitting jump shots outside the restricted area. He's only a 25% shooter outside the RA in his NBA Finals career, and this is starting to look like 2007 deja vu when it comes to the Spurs strategy in defending LeBron. One thing is certain, Pop is the man.
Parker's hammy MRI results today are gonna be important. We've seen the Heat bounce back from a bad loss before, and if Parker's out that will aid them in doing so. I've got no horse in this race, but the Game 3 blowout has me wondering. The Heat had better figure things out quickly or they'll still be in San Antonio when the parade starts.
Male lawyer. And he didn't seem to mind. It wasn't like he goosed him.
I think the judge actually asked him if he thought his lawyer did a good job on his behalf and that's when he gave him the pat. So why would a judge ask a defendant who she is letting off the hook with no time served (probation and community service only) for domestic abuse (head butt to wife) ask something like that? She's looking for a response to such a personal question in open court? That's out of line and unprofessional on her part. It's none of her business whether Chad thinks his lawyer did a good job or not, and certainly not something she should have made him answer in public/open court. The lawyer's representation of Chad wasn't at issue in the hearing.
Next, why does she give the guy 30 friggin' days for THAT, given she just let him walk from an admitted head-butt to his wife? I'm all for tough judges who don't allow disrespect in their courtroom. Like the young gal who flipped off the judge after a hearing--she rightfully got snapped and thrown in the clink for a couple days. But this judge asked an irrelevant and inappropriate question after the hearing and sentencing was concluded which probably led Chad to believe that formalities were relaxed. I agree that this should be overturned. She should overturn herself. And maybe she should have to explain to the State Bar Commission on Judicial Performance why she asked that question in the first place.
Oh, Jeez, EZ...just read about that. And right after he signs a 3 year deal. Well, he says he was protecting himself and she threw a beer in his face. The video is out on the web . . . she's already lawyered up, so it should get interesting. Looks like he got her with a quick jab.
Tebow kind of looks like Gronk. And remember what Gronk said about Tebow at Rhode Island University back in April. The students gave Gronk 3 choices up on stage...one you marry, one you roll in hay with, and one you kill. The three choices were Betty White, Rex Ryan, and Tebow. I only heard one of his choices on Youtube - Tebow - and he wasn't marrying him or killing him.
Agreed, in some ways it's surprising, but then again in some ways it's not. Belichick seems to love taking malleable square pegs and working them into the round hole that is his system. Jeez, that almost sounds naughty. If he was going to go anywhere and have a shot to really improve, it seems like NE might be the place. I could see Belichick doing all sorts of creative things with Timmy T. Football-wise.
I heard about some guy who rented out a Section 8 apartment to a couple who then proceeded to move two families in, maybe 14 total. Everything was fine until they nearly burned the place down. Why? Because they cut a hole in the living room floor to build a fire pit where they roasted a whole pig on a spit until the flames got out of control. Shoulda stuck to Smores.
[Shakes head] Uh, ohhhh, bad dream.
You just started a thread for no other reason than to tell us you're going to start another thread.
Sheesh.
It'll probably be Post No. 10. Don't forget!
