I guess back in the day when they interviewed Al Davis for NFL Films and he said, "The other teams quarterback must go down and he must go down hard." would be considered a bounty now days.

All this is such milk toast crap. If they wanted Favre carted off, why didn't they put a helmet under his chinstrap and drive him into the turf? Instead, they high/lowed him and it wasn't even a penalty on the field

The hits were within the parmeter of the rules.

Elway already wanted out from under Tebowmania....Manning was the answer. No way that would have worked. The over the top Tebow fans would begin to chant his name when the Broncos got behind in a game no matter who was playing QB.

Tebow isn't an NFL starter....he's a gimmick that got figured out against the Pats twice last year.
