Why would Billick be making defensive play calls? He was an offensive coordinator in Minnesota ... and he has a defensive coordinator w/a a fierce team. And why would defensive playcalling "force" an O-lineman to retire?
Maybe it's just me, but it seems like the Cheifs have been going backwards since Edwards took over.
Barber is fierce.
But being caught cheating (and his arrogant response to it) has hurt Bellijerk's reputation in immeasurable ways. Even Peter King wrote this week that it would come up years from now in the HOF selection meetings.
How did that happen?
The public and media have torched him. He now knows that he should've handed out a suspension. But since he didn't, this is all just a big spin job.
He started well, but this thing's making him look more the fool every day.
Especially with the game still winable! (if that's a word). Laugh all you want about Holcomb, but at least he's lit it up in this league once or twice .. something TJ only dreams about.
Call me impatient, but so far I have NOT been impressed with Tarvaris Jackson.
I have been even less impressed with Childress' coaching.
The real story here is that Goodell is taking steps in such a controversial direction so early in his tenure.
Bold ... and impressive.
That's messed up.
Or the NBA ...
Or MLB ...
Or ...
Just hope they start 0-1. With Tavarius Jackson at QB, my Viks need all the breaks they can get.
Anyone else hate when FanNation scrapes the bottom of the journalistic barrell & posts it?
... but would it be totally unlike the Patriots to sign Dillon for a 1-year deal?
They can get him on the cheap, know his strengths, and he knows the playbook.
He may be in the NFL until 2014, but only as a backup somewhere. That couldn't happen in Philly.
Either that, or they'll be worn out ...
