Yep, sitting in a tree and waiting for something to wander by takes a tremendous amount of skill.

My inability to correctly articulate what it is I am trying to seems the only team being discussed as the winner by the experts is KY. I haven't really heard another team (other than UNC) being given a chance to win it.

I would love to see the Bucks avenge the loss vs. Kansas, and most especially return the favor of knocking out the Number 1 seed (last year's game vs. KY).

It has been a foregone conclusion KY is gonna win it....they are going to have a huge challenge with Louisville....Pitino is going to have his guys ready, and the coaching will make this a bit closer than everyone expects.....KY will win, but it won't be decided until the clock hits 0:00.

The Kansas/tOSU game does have a lot of intrigue....strength against strength. The deciding factor will come to down to who wants it more, and with tOSU looking to even the score may have the edge.

Well, when the whole conference gets to play.....
Posted Thursday December 15, 2011, About: Ohio State will defeat Florida in the Gator Bowl!
I honestly can't predict what will happen in this game. If tOSU's D plays like they did in the first half of the Nebraska game, they should win. If the D plays like they did in the 2nd half of the Nebraska game, they will struggle.

I have not seen UF play at all this year, so I'll leave the evaluation to BSB!

But, I wouldn't mind tOSU winning 41-14!!

yes it is
Posted Thursday December 08, 2011, About: Trent Richardson vs Kellen Moore
As the arguments go, Okie St doesn't get to play in the NCG because they lost to Iowa St....ergo, Trent Richardson shouldn't win the Heisman because he had 37 yds against Kent State!
Having the NFL play games on Saturday is a horrible horrible idea. CFB is a much better product. But that is my opinion. The fact is, the NFL would NEVER infringe on CFB being played on Saturday due to the fact that CFB is a FREE training ground for the NFL. And CFB would be damaged monetarily by losing some butts in the stands, and viewers on the boobtube. Having more NFL games is not a good idea, especially if they take place on days other than Sunday and Monday.
The bama LSU game was not very exciting to watch, even though it went to OT. But, I would watch NCAA football over the NFL and CFL every day. Part of what makes college sports better is the emotion of the teams and fans. Pro sports are essentially people doing their job, and THAT is pretty boring to watch.

The idea that ANY college team could beat ANY professional team is ludicrous. Each and every professional team is going to have outstanding athletes at every position, whereas, college teams are going to have outstanding athletes at no more than 2/3 postions. Further, college teams practice so they do things correctly, whereas professional teams practice until they can't do them wrong. The level of preparation put in by any CFL team precludes any college team from winning. There is pretty much ZERO chance of a CFL team losing to a college team.

But, I agree with JPax...lefts arguments are pretty weak.
Dude...check yourself....Right listed Bo Schembechler as HC.

Left has Bo Pellini as DC, but as best all-time? No.
anyone who has Bo as the best HC needs to have his head examined.
Posted Friday October 14, 2011, About: LBJ would not succeed in the NFL
The TD is "LBJ wouldn't succeed in the NFL" and left's argument is LBJ doesn't have "football toughness." What a crock!! The dude is a freak of nature! I would expect the defense would get as much as it gave! LBJ is 6'8" and 250lbs (and as a WR) going against considerably smaller CB's and slower safeties.

Good job by both TDers! My vote still goes right.

Is there a mercy rule in TD's?
Posted Tuesday September 28, 2010, About: IU will upset Michigan this weekend
So far this TD has been about stats, etc. What about the "X" factor? Last year's game was anybody's game until "the interception?" Then the gum-throwing/yelling began! This game COULD be (and should be) a thriller. So, does IU's coaches get the team fired up with last year's results more than RR does his team to keep his job?

And what about DR's knee? Does he miss reps in practice? will he favor it on his cutbacks? Great stuff this game.....but it is still voting right------>
Posted Tuesday September 14, 2010, About: College has a Major Sports Problem
So, your argument is these kids go to school only to better prepare themselves in their prospective profession, but some fail in areas outside of their areas of expertise is a major problem. Really? what about all the students who are not athletes who do the same thing...major in X, but have problems paying bills, and/or have shady ethics, and/or can't invest properly....AND the university takes their money too for their majors!!! Is this also a major problem? or just because athletes are involved makes this a major issue?

Personally, universities should be able to create a School of Athletics that offer majors in, Bachelor of Arts in Football, Basketball, Baseball, etc. These students can then use practice times towards their degree. AND, these student athletes would then be required to attend courses to help them when they graduate...take classes towards understanding how to use a checkbook, etc so they can get a grasp on how the real world works BEFORE they are used.

The student athletes you want to chide probably put more into their "studies" for future employment than most students attending school. The countless hours of film study, weight lifting, practice, etc far exceed most students "study" time for classes.
Posted Tuesday September 07, 2010, About: GameDay is RUINED for the Year
*accept is the word you wanted say "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." Well, it will be broke next year with Nebraska joining the league. The Big10 expanded for the almighty $, and a CCG would bring in major $! I fully expect to have two divisions set-up so the CCG can be initiated. The teams have to be divided, so there is little chance the will "leave it as it is."

BBS...your first throwdown is about the Big10? I knew you are a closet Big10 fan!! I would agree the rivalries that exist need to be honored. At this point, each team has 2 teams it plays every year, while the remaining teams rotate through the schedule. I don't see tOSU and TSUN NOT PLAYING each other. I don't want to see this game twice in a year, though, so keeping these two schools in the same division makes sense. Similar to tOSU/PSU, TSUN/MSU, Wisc/Minn, etc.
