Gotta disagree! Whose gonna guard Barea? How about Mario Chalmers, a taller equally athletic guard. As for Tyson on Bosh, Bosh will pull Tyson out of the middle. If Tyson doesn't respect Bosh's mid range jumper, he'll get killed. If he tries to guard against the jumper, Bosh can drive around him or pump fake and get him in foul trouble. Also if he goes out to guard the jumper, LBJ and DWade will have a field day going to the hoop. Dirk will be Dirk, he will get his pts. but how will Dallas' small guards deal with the Heat? Then, who is going to guard Miller? Dirk on Haslem, really? Still think poses more match up problems for Miami?

This shouldn't even be a conversation.......the answer is Dan Marino. The man rewrote the record books during his career. He owned every meaningful QB record and did it all on a team that never had a decent running game. Teams knew he was going to pass and he still torched 'em for 300+ yards on a regular basis. The man had the quickest release ever, rarely sacked for that reason and usually the defense for the Dolphins was less than stellar so he would sometimes score 35 pts and lose 38-35. It's Dan Marino hands down, gents

Gotta throw in one of my favorite Yogi quotes....."If you don't know where you are going, you might not get there!"

"Check Down Chad" needs to go. His poor decision making and lack of leadership are glaring error that I'm not sure can be fixed. Dan Henning needs to go. We have a bonafide thoroughbred wide receiver that we don't even try to stretch the field with and when we do throw to him it's on short crossing patterns and out routes. One week the Phins are trying to be a running team and the next they don't even try to run the ball. I'm not saying that Ricky and Ronnie are still both Pro Bowlers but they are serviceable running backs that were under used or miss used. Not all of the offensive woes were on "Check Down Chad" or the play calling. The O line, by the end of the season sucked. Granted injury played a part in it and having to shuffle guys from position to position didn't help. This years draft needs to be as slanted to offense as last years draft was to defense. We need to add speed to our skilled positions and a QB who has more gunslinger in him. Sporano deserves one more year with a new OC and some added pieces.

Where do I begin with this masterpiece? I'll just hit on the most obvious points you make. First, "The Heat used their strength to beat their opponents". As opposed to what, using their weaknesses to beat them? Next, "Their biggest strength is to play fast and penetration plays. The game slows down in the playoffs and if you stop LeBron and DWade from penetrating then you will beat them." The first statement merely states the obvious. The second statement is easier said than done. Don't you think that every team in the NBA knows that if you stop LeBron and DWade from penetrating you have a better chance of beating them? Not a guarantee, but a better chance. Unfortunately for the rest of the league. They happen to be two of the best players in the league at penetrating and either scoring, or getting fouled or both. Then you also have to account for them penetrating and kicking the ball back out to any one of a number of shooters on the team. Anthony, Miller, Arroyo. Ever heard of them? Also, who says the game slows down in the playoffs? The Heat fast paced style is predicated on their defensive rebounding. Keep them off the boards and you slow them down. So far, Our revolving door at the 5 spot as well as everyone else, including D Wade, crashing the boards seems to be working. Knowing what to do and doing are all together different things. The Heat are still a work in progress. Once Miller regains his mid season form and learns his piece of this puzzle the heat will only get stronger and more dominating. It's a long season, but fasten your seatbelts, and enjoy the ride!!

All you doubters,...... opinions are like **** everyone's got one. Let the season play out then evaluate the effectiveness of this team.
Posted Tuesday October 26, 2010, About: Dolphins victims of home cooking?
Yeah but two of the officials reside in the Pittsburgh area. Also, the officials closest to the recovery were yelling "White ball, White ball", The Dolphins being in their home white uniforms. How can the guys closet to the play know who covered the fumble but because some guy looking at a TV screen up in the stands didn't have a clear view the give the ball to Pitt. It stinks of home cooking. Also why the premature TD call? Big Ben said he saw the ref signaling TD before he crossed the line. Wouldn't it have been better to let the play run itself out and if their was any doubt let Pitt challenge the call? The whole thing STINKS!!!!

If it's an illegal hit, that injures a player, the suspension should be until the injured player can return.

He did nothing in Cleveland?!? What are you smokin? The overall value of the team doubled during his seven years there. Mr. Gilbert forgets this small fact when he speaks of how Lebron betrayed him. How would you like to double your investment in seven years? Lebron took a franchise that was a league joke and made them contenders. Is it his fault they could not or would not put another top tier player by his side in seven years? Could he have left in a better manner? Of course? Having said that all the rest of this is just "sour grapes"!!!
