Doing argument now. This will be tough cause in Canada we have Canadian commercials and advertisements. For instance I believe you when you say that Dale is very highly endorsed, but I have never seen him on anything in Canada.
What about KHL players? Or guys from the Swedish leagues? The way I see it you are severely hurting the chances for the Canadian and US' Olympic teams.
And isn't it just an NHL rule? I thought I read somewhere that guys like Ovi and Semin were going to play in the Olympics regardless of what the NHL decides.

I agree with Verlander getting it in the AL. Personally though, I believe that Kemp should have gotten it in the NL.
Saying the Kays aren't willing to spend money shows that you are misinformed about the Jays. They are willing to spend money as long as it is spent properly.
If Drabek is involved in the trade (which I'm guessing he would be) I don't know how badly I would want it to go through. Drabek was the centerpiece of the Halladay trade, I don't know if I could justify flipping him like that.
There have been some rumours going around because Votto will cost them 23.7 mil over the next two years. And Alonso is ready. I don't know what that really translates to but it's worth speculating over, which is all this TD is doing really.
I kind of feel like taking this but I don't know how I would argue it. I would have to agree that I would be willing to trade some of our prospects, it just depends on who. There are some guys in the system that I really want to see play for the Jays.
