why would we want cribbs. Jacoby ford does everything cribbs does and is a better WR and he is younger. Cribbs isn't a possession receiver. If anything thats what the Raiders should be looking for. They have Denarius moore, Jacoby Ford, and Rod Streeter. These guys are playmakers. Raiders dont have a TE. They need someone that can make a guaranteed catch to move the chains.

Nobody ever said melo was better than the best player in basketball right now which is LBJ. I dont know why you dont get that. Even Karl Malone and Barkley got MVP's when they weren't better than MJ.

Lebron shot 57% this year. His best year in Cleveland he shot 50%. Wade Shot 52% this year, Prior to Lebron being there, his best year was 49%. Chris Bosh's % is higher than it ever was in Toronto. The point is, when you play with another great player your %'s should increase. Melo does not have that luxury to have someone to take the pressure off him so that he gets easier shots.

Thats a great point. Everyone compares him to LBJ when thats not what he is. Nobody is LBJ. Just like Magic wasnt Bird and Clyde wasn't MJ etc. Melo isn't the defender and playmaker LBJ is and LBJ isn't the scorer that Melo is, but facts are facts. Melo doesn't play with other top 5-10 players in the league and LBJ does.

As far as what he does for his team, Melo is the MVP. You could take Lebron off the heat and they still win 50 games with Wade and bosh. If you take Melo off the Knicks they don't make the playoffs. Melo doesn't have two other superstars on the floor with him it's all on him. Even with wasting 20 mil on Amare, Melo is getting it done.

First off Bill Simmons is an idiot. "I'd rather have Pierce's final four years then Barnes' next 10, anyway." This makes no sense. Barnes is a lottery pick that has shown potential. He isnt going to be consistent with Klay Thompson and Steph Curry jacking up shots. Add David Lee in the mix and Barnes doesnt get touches. That being said Adding Paul Pierce to the Warriors does not make them better than the Spurs or the Thunder so why would you want to salvage your future for him. He isn't athletic, doesn't defend, and is definitely declining.
