One guy is not going to implode that locker room. Especially after the Seattle game. If he were to try and TO-esque antics his teammates would tell him to shut his trap.

You certainly won't see John Mara on the sideline consoling his star WR over his lack of play.

How is this news? The GIants already said they would do this without the NFLPA getting involved.

He isn't a **** bag he is just a guy who hates practice and meetings to the point that he is willing to lose money if it means he doesn't have to go to either. Hopefully losing playing time will be the kick in the **** he needs. Doubt it though...

I don't know if I would say they want discipline. They want accountability. And the Giants players know how important working as a team is, it is what TC has been drilling in them for the past 4 years. When one player fails to live up to his obligations he weakens the team as a whole.

Glad to see one of the locker room leaders backs the move. So much for a big controversy. Better luck next time haters.

He is not a wishy washy guy but he was second guessing from Day 1.....

How about earlier in the offseason when he was thinking about coming back? You know right before those league meetings in Florida? Right before they were to start he tells GB he is thinking of coming back, but by the end of the meetings he has changed his mind AGAIN.

And you wonder why GB was unwilling to commit to a guy who simply can't make up his mind. Right now all we know for sure is spite is certainly a motive for him to keep playing.

It isn't perception Pennington it is fact. Since I have been forced to watch as my second NFL game the Jets almost every single week I have seen Pennington play pretty much his entire career. His receivers last year were being mauled almost every pass play as the defenders had so much time to make a play for the ball. It was pathetic.

He is right. For what Plax brings to this team and compared to the salaries of other teams #1 receivers, he is underpaid. And I fully expect he will be getting a raise, especially after he played through the pain of a bum ankle all season long and still put up good numbers.

And vaughn that is just a dumb statistic sports journalists use to add word-count to their articles. They never made playoffs after a SB? How many players are on this team that were even in their last SB? One. Explain how this TEAM has less of a chance of making the playoffs based on the CLUBS history?
