I'm a Dubs fan and their success has nothing to with them just being better w/out him(Monta). He was great here! Better pieces all the way around is the story. The combination of high quality contributions from three rookies (Barnes Ezelli & Green); Bogut, Jack, Landry and the blossoming of Thompson. Newly crowned superstar Curry doesn't hurt either! That's not to say that I wouldn't rather have Curry as my best player because I would. He's better than Monta. Look for really good thing to happen while GM Bob Myers is running the show and Lacob is the owner!
What a piece of work this guy(Bieksa) is. I was at the game sunday night and watched as he flew around the arena cheap shot after cheap shot trying to get somebody to engage in his BS. Nobody did! One of the last things I watched him do was grab Pavelski's sweater and attempt to spin him around while everyone was returning the length of the ice from an icing call. That was his idea of playing with integrity. Pavelski barely even glanced at him......great composure!
From the first drop of the puck in this series the only thing that Vancouver has concentrated on was their hits and finishing checks! Try scoring a goal or two and you might have a little more success. Having said that, the Sharks defense has been stellar!
When the Dubs lost Lee in game 1 vs Denver I thought they were cooked. As it turns out, no so much! Gutty performance by GS. Missing him in this series is death!
Hard physical plays in the playoffs are expected and completely part of the game when they're basketball plays! Elbows, hard screens and hard fouls are basketball plays. The only non basketball play I saw was Fareid's attempt to trip Curry off the ball running through the key. I find it hard to believe that any of you could be proud of and defend that move! Classless with serious intent to injure!

Really stupid article anyway and the title gives the writer zero cred! As if it's a thought provoking title that creates debate! There's no debate here....the "dream" just limped out of the building!
Not sure about the raping thing. The interior play is always more physical in the playoffs as is most all around defense. I certainly don't think Bogut needed to rape McGee as he's an excellent post defender. Let's face it with by the reaction of all of these guys, they never commit a foul and they're fouled on every play! And we as fans see it any way that makes our team look better also...no gettin' around it I guess
Curry's offense is way more important to the W's success than anything McGee does for Denver. Try watching off the ball a little on tuesday night and get back to me on the Curry mugging!
Love to see a tussle between McGee and Bogut and I think you'd see why McGee threw that hand running away!
Homer's see it the way homer's see it! Pot callin' the kettle black.....and if you think Curry wasn't held, held and held again, then kind sir, you're a blind fan! Got away with murder on Curry!
Big ifs here (especially now) but if the Dubs steal that game and Lee's isn't hurt, it's a winnable series for GS and again you're just a blind fan if you don't think so! Nuggets unbeatable............dream on pal! They proved it saturday.
Do I agree GS has no shot now with Lee out? Yes and I'm sure it'll be a thrashing on tuesday but, I'm happy they were the only road team to show up in any of the first games!
That's a joke! This game could've easily been won by GS where they (or many other teams) were given no shot to win in Denver. Win that game and Lee stays healthy? Totally winnable series!
Also, Nuggets were allowed to play hold and hack on Curry! Got away with murder.
It's a joke to even talk about! There are hundreds probably more like thousands of better male players at her size that have no shot of ever making it in the NBA! Size and twitch speed/quickness and strength basically relegate her to at best maybe Div. II college men's b-ball. Ridiculously insulting conversation for a ton of really good, similarly sized male players!
Steph is playing great but this so completely not true! There isn't one PF playing better than Lee this year and nobody can use the "crappy team" thing any more!
Well then...everybody got what they wanted! Seto is deeply missed here and it was hard to watch him last night in a different sweater but, there's not the same attachment to Heater. He started off well here also. It all has been pretty easy swallow as Burns has been a beast. Just what they've needed to compliment the other blue liners and take some minutes away and rest Boyle a bit more. He doesn't have to be everything to this team like he did in Minnesota. Since his late start, Havlat has shown the speed, skill and all around play that we had hoped for! I'm aware of that Wild fans will say that he can't stay healthy. We'll see....it's a tough game to stay injury free! As far as Burns' quote "Wild losing every game", I like his honesty and love his intensity so far. He's an interestng quote machine!!

Put these Bums out of their misery tonight!
