I find it hard to believe that they would get rid of Harden...regardless of how disappointing the season is, but he is a dominating pitcher when he gets the run support. Heilman...if there were any way to get any value for him id take it..how much worse could you get than him? our whole bullpen SUCKS

I dont think the heat will ever trade for rubio first off. and secondly, donnie walsh is just that stupid to go for it. and this guy i quoted is quite correct. he doesnt play any D whatsoever, doesnt have a shot except for a flailing throw up while running at the basket..the only thing he is good for is FLASH. and thats not good at all...and he will not work with FLASH as long as pat riley is there.

Yes Guam is correct on this one. Tyrus thomas was supposed to be a superstar, and he has shown glimpses, now with derrick rose distributing, theres no doubt he'll get his touches on the offensive end. His defense (blocking wise) needs improvement and limit the goaltending situations he puts us in. Otherwise, i have no problem in maybe a Deng for Lee might work? im conflicted because, deng is supposed to be the best player on our team right now and he's underacheiving CONSIDERABLEY.

Detroit would be better suited to have Hossa anyways, a top scorer but with plenty of backup....the hawks are still young and who says its guaranteed that we're gonna have major scorers on that team? Kane declined big time towards the end of the season (including playoffs and reg. season) and Toews should be sharp as always...oh and speaking of..didnt anybody hear those rumors that to shed some cash we might get rid of sharp? Remember when he went down last time? we couldnt score worth a bag of beans.

i like the move but at the same time...idk...shocked? i do agree that his cap management is screwy but you have to admit he built the team from the ground up, not just buliding talent but acquiring guys like patrick sharp, versteeg, etc. he pulled some good deals, i do feel another patrick sharp trade is in the works, maybe even getting rid of a brian campbell? fitting in a jack skille or kyle beach? who knows? move byfuglien back to D?

I would pretty much say theres a trade coming wouldnt you say? get some more of our 1st rounders in there (skille, beach) and trade away (GULP) a patrick sharp or even a brian campbell?? that will clear up major space.

It's not like they have to have tons of money, and i'd rather keep duncan keith than brian campbell. So i say he's very tradable. Maybe Campbell and Huet for maybe a star goalie out there..idk who would be available but id take an oldie like..a luongo...biron...something to that affect. Seems reasonable for both sides really.

As far as resigning any of kane, toews, and keith, id keep keith WITH EVERYTHING i had..id throw the kitchen sink at him if he wanted it....i cant actually see them giving up on toews and kane and not givng them contracts, and i couldnt see them signing elsewhere just because of money...don't you think, if a trade DOESNT end up happening to clear up some cap space...that they maybe wont take a discount on what they think they SHOULD get JUST To stay in chicago? Who says they're going to be superstars elsewhere???

I think the biggest mistake was signing Huet because he has done nothing for us. When we all tried to trade khabibulin, that didnt work, and he turned out to be the best player on our team by FAR.....what i dont understand is why it would be so hard to sign your young core, the cap space is limited, yes, but you cant keep everybody, and you have to continually draft well, we have young studs in the hockey minors, aliu, niemi, dowell, skille, beach...i mean i would be sad to see some people go, but you would never let toews, kane, or keith go....no way no how.

Why would you do that when you can draft for depth, cheaply, then package Deng, Hinrich, Tim thomas, for a superstar if need be...hell you can even package one of the picks in there with those 3 guys and get a superstar definitely. AND that sheds Luols contract, Hinrichs contract, and Tim Thomas' wanna be superstar status.

and as for that...i guess he would have a pretty good record at that point, hold some cubby records, and maybe polish off a trophy if they wanna ever get their act together. he has cy young stuff. He needs to show it.

Thats because he played for a mediocre team thats BEEN mediocre since the days of Elway. NO defense at all and a very inexperienced offensive line and receivers. If it wasnt FOR cutler ...there wouldnt BE any eddie royal. NO brandon marshall...who would they be without jay cutler? HM? ANYBODY?

i do admit the only thing stopping the BEARS is defense, but...BUT...they arent too far seperated from a SUPER BOWL. All they need is the defense to step up, and find some hidden gems (they draft SUPERBLY well)
