Actually you are both wrong. UCSB are the Gauchos. UC Santa Cruz are the Banana Slugs

I think Lalas gets off way too easy for his destruction of the LA Galaxy. Remember he took over the reigning MLS champions and they have not been to the playoffs since.

The real action is in LA Liga? Congratulations to Barca and all, but LA Liga is lagging behind the EPL's results overall in the Champion's league over the last few years.

Raven: I got to attend a Flamengo game in Rio last year. It was an amazing experience.

I don't understand why Tevez thinks sitting on the bench at City is going to be so much better than sitting on the bench at United.

That clown was just pulling "statistics" out of his backside. USC had 33 alumni on NFL rosters last year and has had the most players on NFL rosters for 17 out of the last 30 seasons. USC has more players in the NFL Hall of Fame (11) than any other school. USC has had more players play in the Superbowl (45) than any other university.

The facts show the exact opposite of the idea that most USC players are "busts" in the NFL.

The plan is for Darren to take Peterborough up to the Preimiership and then he can take over from his dad at the big club.

If Hull could do it, then why not Peterborough? They look like they are going to make it to the Championship next season.
Posted Thursday March 19, 2009, About: MLS to expand to 20 teams by 2012
No it does not. I primarily go see the Galaxy, but have had no problems at all when going to a Chivas home game. Overall Chivas is certainly a better deal than the Galaxy.

And while the MLS tickets are expensive, they are not as bad as Coachella!

The soccer bashers show that they are threatened. But there is no reason a person can't like both soccer and (American) football. Nobody bats an eye if somebody likes both football and baseball. But as soon as soccer is mentioned people act all crazy. It is not an all or nothing deal, soccer can survive and thrive without displacing football in the USA. LA has two solid teams. Toronto sold out the whole season. The MLS is successful.

When Buehler played JUCO at Santa Ana he not only lead the team in tackles he led it in touchdowns as well. He could have played either running back or linebacker at many NCAA division I schools, he just didn't quite make it at those positions at USC (which certainly had lots of depth at both last year).
Posted Tuesday December 02, 2008, About: Weis tells recruits he's safe
If you put Weis in charge of USC's team at the begining of this year, then yes he could probably coach that group of already developed atheletes well enough to have them make it to the Rose Bowl. Especially this year when the Pac 10 was down. But in 3 years the program would be in shambles.

But Weis would never be hired at USC, even as an assistant. His lack of people skills just would not work there. And every coach at USC, from Pete Carroll on down, is in very good physical shape.
Posted Wednesday September 03, 2008, About: Notre Dame's Weis watching, waiting
No "The Irish" you are wrong. Phil Steele ranked schools by strength of schedule in his season preview magazine. Notre Dame has an easier schedule than all but 4 BCS conference teams and is weaker than a number of mid-majors.

http://www.philsteele.com/FBS%20Info/toughestschedule.html

Actually if you work only off of the opponents win-loss percentages from last year then Notre Dame comes out even worse, the only BCS team they beat is Iowa.
